I've always wanted to set up a base in these apartments in Louisville, but unfortunately I've never been lucky enough to have less zombies and enough resources, always an alarm goes off, run out of food, or I'm too scared, and shot a single fire arm at Lou is never an option. The base looks pretty amazing, brother. Congratulations.

Yeah it's very difficult. Much easier with friends to help you but if you're doing it solo, the best way is to set a noise maker nearby the apartment and draw a lot of the zombies away and then sneak inside. But I'd only ever do this if i had the "They Knew" mod on cause there's no way I'd risk my life for a nice apartment lol.

My guess is you tear out all the stuff in those rooms first and then close them off so the tower is basically a staircase to your base.
It was my first thought too, and I always have trouble with gates too. It's hard to find the click zone on them.

The television camera pointed at the bottom of the ladder is a nice touch. It pays to know what is down below before we climb down.
This is awesome bro. You should get the ladder mod, there's two of them now, I just use the older one, but you could get rid of that sheet rope. Everything in your base looks fuckin great!

The riverside two-story houses downtown of Louisville, along the highway before the military checkpoint and near the distillery make good bases too! There's one that has a stone wall and a garage warehouse which makes for an ideal self-sufficient base. It has large plots of land and you can fish safely anytime as long as you have a bait. It also has a large parking area in front plus it's near the food storages amd restos on the eastern most side of Westpoint.
Sorry, but this is not an apartment. This is a home/bar/club/restaurant/pastry shop/spa/clinic/warehouse/reservoir/music hall/farmland/water depot/surveillance panic room/arsenal/stash/laboratory/studio/research facility/workshop/campground, oh your mighty dudeness! Great work!!!

the place is lovely! the only thing that sucks is the current man made fences are so brittle and easy to break, but everything else is hella good
You could make a saferoom and maybe make the top more secure incase any zombie gets on one roof that it cant jump over on urs. id also recommend to clear out the few zombie infested rooms and turning those rooms into something cool too. All besides this looks really cool.
