Live Word Count for Google Docs Update

This is awesome! I ask students to practice their keyboarding by copying text from paragraphs that I provide. I set a timer and ask them to type a certain number of words, depending on grade level and proficiency. Using this tool, it will be great for students to see their word could go up as they type and know exactly when they meet the goal. Thanks for the video! :)

It's going to be quite helpful. It's better to see the word counts while typing than stop every time to check

I agree. When you keep track of word counts, having it in the bottom corner makes all the difference.

Thanks again for a clear and concise video. Isn't this just like Google, to make an enhancement and then give it no fanfare at all. Google rely on you seeing a tick box to activate the new feature. If it were not for videos like yours the "word" would not get out at all.
