Honestly it hasn't aged very well... Gameplay is extremely repetitive and the story is meh. It's really cool to drive around Springfield and find locations and characters but that's it, The Simpsons Game from 2007 is better in my opinion.

He was the main character. Children watching the show in the 80s grew up and identify more with Homer. This changed so the show changed.

I forgot arcade game was only digital and in arcade and cell phone games can't be unboxed but still lol
The Simpsons did make Bart the main character at the start but he flopped so the show changed it to Homer and the show been a huge success since.
