As you just saw, he is a Louis Vuitton model. Those gloves cost more than most people's entire outfit. From my Kpop journey, the only group I can compare to Exo is Mamamoo. Both groups were vocal heavy from debut and even predebut, and both continue to get better and better. Both groups have rappers that can also sing and vocalist who can also, to some degree, rap and both groups have some of the best harmonies and live vocals. 😊😊😊

Yes, you will discover that all the members of EXO are actors, and all of them have starred in K-dramas and movies and/or are stage actors. Promoting as a group only takes up a few weeks a year -- on average they only promote their latest comeback on music shows and attend variety shows or do interviews, etc. to promote their newest comeback for about 2 weeks -- so in order to fill their time and continue to make money, all Idols have side projects, which means most idols also spend time as actors, models, Radio DJs, authors, music producers, songwriters, regular/main cast members on variety shows, etc. Their side projects also are part of their cross promotions as idols. Someone who doesn't know them may watch them in a drama or movie or see them promoting their favorite brand or product, etc., which leads to them discovering their group and music, or the person may be a fan of them as a singer and this makes them want to watch their movie or drama, etc. It's all about getting their name and face out there in as many ways as possible in order to drive sales and viewership of everything they are involved in.
I discovered exo through kdramas , i watched D.O. and baekhyun and fell for them , googled them and jumped into the world of exo and there is no getting out of this
EXO members are not just idols. They are ambassadors, solo singers, theatre actors, producers, writers, actors, etc. They do a lot.
I'm one of those EXOLs whose bias changes every day 😭🤣 I can never choose which of them is the best..because I think they all have their own talents..

Tbh, this video guide didn't really do justice for some members. Kai for example is actually famous for his stage presence. Him being sexy while performing is just bonus part of him. You can really tell that he enjoys being an artist, performing on stage.
And other members do play instruments too.
I feel like it didn't do justice for the first 3 especially. Suno, Xiumin and Lay.

Can you think of another insanely popular boy group where each member is so accomplished in many other fields besides singing in a group? Many of these members may be active in their activities concurrently...doing 2 things at the same time, which involves traveling back and forth between projects, like filming and concerts, which is an undertaking in itself. Very hardworking to say the least. And being in many capacities, over the last ten years, their group, and individual exposure to the public (dramas, movies, tv, game shows, reality shows, magazines, world tours and concerts), Exo has been a household name. And they are a great group of guys with a solid brotherhood and friendship, having grown up in front of the cameras together. They are humble as well, and are incredibly grateful to their fans for supporting them all these years. They love their fans, and always work hard to present a positive side of themselves in reciprocating that love. 💙🌺

Acting is also one way to promote groups, that's why you will find many idols who do acting. It's just that you won't find an idol group whose members are almost all actors like EXO.
one thing i love about kyungsoo, he really passionate in everything he did and he knew how to balance his work as exo and actor. being an idol actor, exo still his priority. but at the same time, he really give 300% in his acting. when he got a role that need him to shave his head, he didn't hesitate to do it even he's in a top group that need to protect their image

Actually that video is pretty old, kyungsoo has 2 solo albums as for now and 3rd album is coming in May this year, also he has variyety show with his really close hyungs in acting industry (gbrb: Reap What You Sow) and he went some music shows for his second album promotions such as Lee Mujin's service (you must watch it he covered English songs with a perfect pronunciation ) and The Seasons Season 3: AKMU's Five Nights (he covered rewrite the stars and went viral for days) and he left sm last year and he has joined a new agency which was founded by ex sm director who works with kyungsoo since his debut, he realesed new drama(Bad Prosecutor, in 2022)and movie(the moon,in 2023) and casted for new ones, actually kyungsoo's part in this video was so short that's why I wanted you to know these things, thank you for reaction to exo 😊

One last thing, beside his successfull career on being singer and actor he is a certified chef and even was a military chef in military, at first it was just a hobby but at the end he is an certified chef right now and one of his dream is open a restaurant, I hope he can do this one day 😊

Cheers. A great way to unwind and watch your part2 EXO reaction. Loved it. A gap in the guide is actually how successful their solo work is. EXO_Lay for instance at the moment the biggest solo musical star in China. And yes he is an actor aswell. It’s a toss between Kai & Lay who is best dancer in K-pop. Yes depth in EXO dance & rap often is overshadowed by the vocals.

What's best being their fans is we can have different kinds of music, acting and many other things. We get different kinds of solo albums from different members due to their distinctly different style and preference as individuals.
It's hard to pick your favorite as we fans always joke about how we change favorites based on who updates us with more content.
Feel free to slowly get to know them thru their albums as a group, sub units and solo works. All 7 of them already have solo albums except for Chanyeol and Sehun. However, Chanyeol has good lists of singles. I like how EXO SC portrays Sehun's potential so much.

In Exo everyone is impressive but my favorite is D.O I love his voice, even when he speaks, that guide is old, for example D.O has two mini albums and this year he releases the third, solo he loves guitar so many of his songs are in acoustic version or more tired rhythms than when he sings in Exo but his voice is impressive, I recommend you to check out his two Highlights Medley "Empathy" and "Expectation"... He's also done one more Bad Prosecutor series and one more movie, The Moon...

My ult bias is D.O. because I'm not into kpop. I saw him in 100 Days My Prince and totally fell in love with his acting. He was so good. Googled him and was surprised that he's an idol. At the time I didn't know idols act too. And then I heard his voice and was surprised how good he sings. After that it leads me to EXO and the rest is history. EXO will remain as the only kpop group I like. None other have come close. I tried very hard to listen to other groups but I just don't like kpop in general. After that I just gave up and stick to EXO. I still don't like kpop until now LOL!

Later when I got into kpop and EXO, I realized he was the actor who played the psych0path role, I was so creeped out by him in the drama that seeing him so normal and quite in the group really just caught me off gaurd lol. He's my first bias in kpop as well too
Tbh, kpop idols will try acting here and there, and not everyone of them are actually decent actor. Sometimes you see them in one show and that's it.
EXO tho, most of their acting debut was actually pretty good in general. And they have been making their own names individually in film industry as time passes by. Now the ones are still active in acting have been doing very well and actually can survive if they decided to pursue acting only
