So im new to WS. I know normally you cant mix up decks from different IP's and such. But in this case since all 4 trial decks are from Azur Lane, can they be mixed up, some cards from all 4 to make a playable deck? Is that like a legal deck.? And for the booster packs, can the cards obtained from those be added to any of the trial decks? Or do they have to go in specific decks?
You can use cards from different product as long as they’re from the same series. So you’re free to (and encouraged to) use cards from all of the different trial decks and booster in your Azur Lane decks!
@@Trauson Sorry. I didn't watch the full video due to timing. But I believe for newer weiss sets, each case/carton comes with 18 booster boxes inside. If you were to purchase 18 booster boxes, they should provide you a playmat. Anything less would depend on the LGS.
Hey I got a question for you guys. I'm just getting into Weiss Shwartz and I'm getting Arifureta stuff. Will you guys be getting the cases of this set yourselves and will you be showing deck builds, & booster openings/deck openings? Also do you know the pull ratios of the set? I love the anime so I will be building and collecting this particular set.
Yes, we will be opening Arifureta product ourselves. We plan to do our usual lineup of content that we do for each set (Box/TD Opening, Deck Profile, and Gameplay), so look out for that when the set releases :) As for the ratios, we can never know what they are prior to the set releasing; the best guess we have is that it will be identical to the JP release.
56:12 Is Emden any good? New to the game here, I want to use her but her stats and effects aren't that good compared to the other Lv1s in this set, doesn't net any card advantage, and the power boost she provides doesn't seem enough to beat over threats.
She is a filler level 1 card that could fit well with a climax combo that wants more power, such as Prinz Eugen. Otherwise you’re mostly on point with your assessment, niche uses at best
Azur Lane had a collab event with Hololive, but that never returned, so you cant get Hololive characters anymore in Azur Lane Yes, these card arts are loading screens from the game Also many abbilities are also references to their skills in game. August von Parcival and Formidable for example, have slow / dont move skills also in the game
Those terms refer to the type of Climax. Different Climaxes have different effects when you trigger them on attacks. Decks are defined by what Climax Combo cards are used in the deck, so when referring to a specific deck archetype, it will usually be named based on what Climaxes are in that deck (for example, our recent Azur Lane deck profile is a "Goldbar/Door" deck, which means it uses a Goldbar CX - Taihou - and a Door CX - Bismarck). In most situations, just by knowing the Climax lineup, you can determine which combos are being used.
Sorry I'm new to the game but do the trial decks contain cards not found in the booster boxes? So if I start collecting then I have to get the trial decks aswell? Or just booster boxes are fine? Thank you!
This set is particularly strange for me. I've brewed and tested many AL decks in the 10 or so months it's been out JP, and not a single one of them felt like I had all the tools I needed. In particular, I was wildly underwhelmed with almost every CXC and finisher in the set. The 0/0 green brainstormer (Taihou, I think?) and the 1/0 Bremerton being the exceptions. The only CXC finishers that felt reliable and not overcosted were the TD lv3 CXCs for each color (excepting yellow, naturally). However, many of my play group bought a lot of sealed product for this and will be doing an opening party over the weekend. And will likely be playing it in the coming months thereafter. So I'll be interacting with it constantly. I've also always been confused by turning warships in anime girls and over sexualizing them. Kancolle and AL are very weird for that reason. Like, warships are cool enough on their own, you know?
Japan sure loves their anthropomorphic girls. This set’s strength always seems like a sum of its parts, but overall I do agree that it doesn’t quite get there. The biggest missing piece being a lack of decompression tool in stockswap.
was tempted. bought 1 iron blood TD and got a signed SP Prinz Eugen , did not regret
Really looking forward to the deck techs you do for these sets! I cracked my case and am building my playset tonight!

I have a serious question. Where did you get the Mat? Because i got the same amount of products as you and they did not gave me the playmat.
Normally comes with case. If you purchased same amount of boxes, then your LGS screwed you over.
@@rogertruong5751 What Case? you mean the entire box or? So yeah probally they did then.

The Azur Lane mat is included in every sealed case of 18 boxes!
@@TressasCollectibles Ahm then thats fine I did not get scammed then xD Ill buy it separately if I am able to

Which Trial Deck would u recommend?
They’re all pretty good power level wise so it would depend on which faction you like more. Or pick up multiple different ones to try out!

Nice nice!! I cant wait to pick up my boxes hopefully i can finish a set AND have a playset!
I'm a very new player to this game. Can somebody explain what "door", "gate", "pants", "goldbar", and other terms mean? Thank you!

I find it interesting that they’re Trial Decks and not Trial Deck+
All TDs from Azur Lane onward drop the +.
Woooo. Cant wait for my playset : D

All cards in the Azur Lane Trial Decks are exclusive to the Trial Decks. There is no overlap with the booster boxes.
@@Shizukatz okay thank you!
