Last year was a total rollercoaster! I am so happy I’ve got this platform where I can communicate with you guys.
I’ve been doing Kitchen Sessions for a while now, and in a way I’m thankful I’ve had the time to do more of them In 2020.
I’ve been focusing a lot on writing new music for an upcoming album this past year, and I´ll keep focusing on writing. Sometimes it´s just nice, taking a break, doing a cover song in my kitchen. 😄

My Aunt was in the hospital with COVID for 9 days & for those 9 days the only thing she ever asked for was to have Chris Kläfford on repeat so that she could stay calm & so that she wouldn’t feel lonely. She passed away last Friday with our entire family gathered outside of her hospital window.. So now, in order to calm myself down & to feel a little less lonely, I listen to Chris ♥️

If he stay away from both he has a good chance to be one of few tallented guys to work up some real longtime icons status, his singing is already this centuries best, that qoute was from Bryan Adams how want to writte music for him. True story. I just watched 2 AGT YT videos of this man. Then I see another video pop up with him singing Tennessee Whiskey. I knew it was going to be awesome, before a word came out of his mouth.
On night duty in a public hospital trauma operating room in Cape Town South Africa. 3rd Covid wave has arrived. Listening to this performance fills me with peace and hope. May all nurses during this ghastly pandemic be filled with gratitude as I am. Thank you Chris.

I was trying to tie in JT and Stapleton’s performance of this song during the CMA’s a few years back. Which, if you haven’t heard it you should check it out. I absolutely think Chris Kläfford is unique and has a style all his own. But you cannot deny his likeness to Chris Stapleton. They look almost identical. And I think he is at least slightly trying to build fame with that likeness which is a smart thing to do. Great voice, and very talented musician. I think he deserves a shot at the big leagues.

You know, this song was never really a title that I would seek out to listen to. I couldn't even tell you who first release this title. But this performance, much like his appearance on AGT where he sang Imagine. Is the kind of rare event that you've just got to share. This guy has more talent than the next fifty performers combined.
