Last year was a total rollercoaster! I am so happy I’ve got this platform where I can communicate with you guys.
I’ve been doing Kitchen Sessions for a while now, and in a way I’m thankful I’ve had the time to do more of them In 2020.
I’ve been focusing a lot on writing new music for an upcoming album this past year, and I´ll keep focusing on writing. Sometimes it´s just nice, taking a break, doing a cover song in my kitchen. 😄

My Aunt was in the hospital with COVID for 9 days & for those 9 days the only thing she ever asked for was to have Chris Kläfford on repeat so that she could stay calm & so that she wouldn’t feel lonely. She passed away last Friday with our entire family gathered outside of her hospital window.. So now, in order to calm myself down & to feel a little less lonely, I listen to Chris ♥️

Offcourse he do not know what whiskey are or what a real women, can do to you. If he stay away from both he has a good chance to be one of few tallented guys to work up some real longtime icons status, his singing is already this centuries best, that qoute was from Bryan Adams how want to writte music for him. He make every cover in sometimes multiple timmes better, I think John Lennon would aprove his version of Imagine, and think everything is heavenly on that good song I wrote but the singing is not the most soultouching warm embracing thing, not like this dude, takes it on, not a single person did know about him 2years back, I think to my self how a lokal singing theatcher would say after she hade heard him shown a little tune??? u can’t take money for that, he/she gets the most of it😅

Judah didnt have this guys vocal rasp, but his flexible vocals ( i mean that "you're as warm" section) was a lot more sharp and pronounced

Maggoottend i don’t know whether exhaling out of your nose is a good thing or not. But I hope it is. I was mostly joking. I was trying to tie in JT and Stapleton’s performance of this song during the CMA’s a few years back. Which, if you haven’t heard it you should check it out. I absolutely think Chris Kläfford is unique and has a style all his own. But you cannot deny his likeness to Chris Stapleton. They look almost identical. And I think he is at least slightly trying to build fame with that likeness which is a smart thing to do. Great voice, and very talented musician. I think he deserves a shot at the big leagues.

Having an extraordinary, outstanding voice.... is not enough to be considered as an outstanding artist. But, what makes you really especial beside your beautiful voice, is, your unique talent and sense to interpret the songs and push it up onto a new and never reached level.
So if I hear Chris versions of stapletons Tennessee whiskey or for excample of lennons imagine, the versions of Chris are even better and more outstanding/hearttouching as the splendid originals.
