Why would she be in there reporting when the police were to scared to go in.
The police weren’t too scared to go in. Clearly you’ve never worked in emergency services.
Also it appears the report appears to be done in the morning, meaning the next day shortly after Bryant had been arrested
Can anyone at the ABC tell a member of the public why Martin Bryant had TWO cars, a 1979 Volvo sedan and a Honda Civic, which he drove around for a year or more, unregistered, without being noticed by the police or perhaps more tellingly, his guardians, Perpetual Trustees? They had oversight of his finances yet somehow didn't know about these vehicles. In the July 4 1996 police interview, Martin Bryant says "a lady" from Perpetual Trustees stopped him from going overseas for a year. There wasn't an inquest into the whole story... was there ?? They just took his plea of guilt after 6 months of saying " I didn't do it ". His mother got on 60 minutes one day and said he didn't do it. I believe her too.
My mum use to say this " please stop smoking pot " this is why he killed everyone. God i love my mother. She tried so hard to get me on rhe straight and narrow. But pot doesnt make you do this. It is followed by abuse if you arent really in control. I think Martin Bryant actually had aspergers or severe dyslexia . Its no excuse because so many beautiful people still suffer today. But he was extremely mentally ill and I'm cranky at what his folks did to ensure he would never need to do this What went wrong in his brain for him to snap . Should his parents be also a small contribution by allowing and teaching him this was the answer . I in no means forgiving him. Families have been robbed of precious family so he should never ,ever be released. He has been in protective custody and rarely talks to anyone and eats 2 boxes of chocolate biscuits (timtams ) wvwey day and he is super fat. I feel sorry for the victims of these families. Im a very kind and forgiving man. But i can never forgive him. I feel sorry for him but i would spit on him .
People with dyslexia or aspergers are not "severely mentally ill".
