Can't blame Memphis's front office for letting Dillon Bricks go. Franchises are always willing to turn a blind eye for generational, franchise players, this is why they put up with Ja's antics but not with Dillon that's average at best and brings a lot of unnecessary scrutiny and pressure to the rest of team for no good reason.

I think Ja needed this humility. I think he handled the loss and "fine in the west" comment well in the end. He owned it... that's all you have to do. People will leave you alone (generally) after that. Only in not owning it, not apologizing (if necessary), not learning from it, will people keep hounding you. So many times nowadays feel like they need to defend EVERYTHING they say and do... sometimes you say and do stupid crap. Learning when to admit you are wrong, gives you more confidence to stand when you are right... people will also listen more closely if they know you admit when you are wrong, and stand firm when you are right (even with opinions).

Also this is the obvious conclusion to Brooks' career. I think even he saw it coming and buckled under the pressure while trying to prove himself. There's too much bench, D League and overseas talent to be talking and acting like that. I would say he's humbled but he still hasn't been accountable about trying to be the villain. He puts that on the media and fans. He might see this video because I'm sure he googles himself often since he wants to trend for ego reasons. Work on your game Brooks. Breaking News: NBA player Dillon Brooks signs with Shanghai Sharks for the upcoming season
In a surprise move, it has been reported that NBA player Dillon Brooks has signed with the Shanghai Sharks for the upcoming season. Brooks, who has been playing for the Memphis Grizzlies since 2017, will now be taking his talents to the Chinese Basketball Association.
The news of Brooks' signing with the Sharks has sent shockwaves throughout the basketball world. The 25-year-old shooting guard has been a key player for the Grizzlies, averaging 17.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game last season.
The Shanghai Sharks, who are owned by former NBA star Yao Ming, have been looking to bolster their roster in recent years. Brooks' signing is seen as a major coup for the team, and fans are already excited to see him in action on the court.
Brooks is no stranger to international basketball, having played for the Canadian national team in the past. He will now have the opportunity to showcase his skills on a new stage, and help the Sharks compete for a CBA championship.
Details of the contract have not been disclosed, but sources say that Brooks is set to earn a significant salary for his time in China. The move is also expected to raise his profile in Asia, where he is already a popular figure among basketball fans.
Stay tuned for more updates on Dillon Brooks' move to the Shanghai Sharks and the upcoming CBA season.

Easy to say Brooks is being used as a scapegoat and for very good reason. It's one thing to be confident and back it up, it's one thing to be that dude that goes out there and creates chaos and back it up, it's quite another to be those things, not back it up, not show up and then continue down the same path of destruction that impacts the team and the franchise in a very negative fashion. There's a line between confidence and idiocy and Dillon Brooks is clearly a habitual line stepper.

Ja Morant will never win in this league. I promise you that. His decision making and situational awareness as a PG is lower than that of his back up. Not only that, I assure you, that at his size, with his playstyle, he will never be able to stay healthy through the physical playoffs.
The way he was attacking the rim with reckless abandon even with a hurt hand just proves that. Simply moronic playstyle... No awareness, no levels to his game, just attack the rim, destroy your body. He will never win... on top of that, he's a deluded individual and i've never seen a diluded individual carry a team to an NBA championship. Takes winners, no non-sense guys. Kobe. Dirk. Steph. Duncan. Kawhi. Durant. LeBron. Giannis. All guys who take accountability and just worked, guys whos won championships since the 2010s.
