I’m really hoping that if things go as I think, we’re getting a Kobe 9 protro. Those with new cushioning would be incredible. And especially if they are in the What The color way (first shoes I fell in love with and I still want to this day)
The 6 is my favorite model of Kobe's entire signature line. Wasn't able to cop a pair today, but I'm fortunate enough to have a DS pair from 2010. As a result of missing out today, I'll be rocking my 2010s tomorrow to break them in. Don't want them cracking on me another 10 years down the line. Congrats to all who got a pair.
this has become my favorite sneaker channel, we both some from the same area. i was born in hayward and raised in tracy. we are also around the same age so we grew with the same shoes and there is a lot of shoes during the 90s and early 00's that were fire but would never get the attention of this generation of sneaker culture
I remember following after I watched the initial Kobe vi performance review and thought wow, this is what shoe reviews could be. Happy that this channel has stood the test of time! And also hasn’t reduced in quality of the technical breakdown; when I used to play basketball regularly I’d always watch your videos before purchasing a shoe (the options I gave myself were limited to the ones you made videos on because I trusted your take as being more objective than others). I finally added these to the collection i missed out on the 2010 release but as an LA native I'm glad they brought these back. I had to pay resell but worth every dollah!
I'm not a Kobe basketball shoe fan but I'd give these a shot just because NDubb said so otherwise I still play in 90s uptempos with my wide foot 13. Uptempo 94 2 Dukes are my fave to hoop in of all-time

Came back because of the renewed deal with Nike and Kobe. I only got the grinches and Bruce lees which I love but I can’t wait to see what they heat got coming🔥
Kobe 8s are my favorite Kobe’s, most comfortable for my feet, great traction, light weight, breathability, most importantly, flexibility , only problem I give the Kobe 8s is durability, the mesh would always rip after hard miles, Kobe 10s most durable but that’s for another day lol
It sucks that they removed tech from the heel. Tbh it's really unfortunate to me that the Kobe line is being resold at crazy high prices right now, and how hard it is to get a pair. Like you said, most hoopers have a certain line that they enjoy, and for me I jumped between the Jordan signature when I could get a pair on sale and the kobe lineup. I even doubled up on the kobe 9's because I loved playing in them so much. However, now with the resell prices as high as they are, I can't bring myself to put my fresh pair of 9's on the court anymore. Not when I'm a poor student. Those represent a good couple of months of food money now. And forget about picking up any kobe signatures on discount to play in anymore like I used to. So while I'm glad the Kobe line is receiving mainstream attention, it sucks that a lot of the old fans of the line like me are softlocked out of getting the shoes to play in.
Finally a proper review of these guys...if anyone deserved a win on theses guys it would be you...and kinda surprised you would pick the 6 over the kobe 9...Happy Holidays,guys...🎄🎁

The grinches are cool and i love the color blocking but I really want the All star colorway coz they are bulls colors. 🤣 Not gonna lie.....excited that there’s zoom turbo in the forefoot but bummed that there’s no zoom in the heel. 🤷🏽♂️ Might I make way suggestion? I love the ransom Jodi fun fact nuggets randomly sprinkled every so often......maybe there could be a Jodi trivia episode some time in the future? 🤓🤣
