I am a veteran Fu Hua fan, and seeing that my beloved character being taken over and replaced by a newly born Herrscher, the resulting feeling are entirely understandable. But I also feel those Captains who are angry to an unnecessary degree, have actually fall prey to the problem of “Being blinded from the big picture by a single leaf”. Now please be patient and hear me out. --- We all know this very clearly, that Fu Hua is not without her own shortcomings and weaknesses. She lacks subjective opinion, on many issues she simply flowed with the majority or with the dominating tide of influences, She lacks resolution and decisiveness, and often compromises for the sake of humanity’s safe as a whole……But these things never served to discredit Fu Hua, or smeared dirt on her image. But rather, it served to make her more 3 dimensional, and more realistic. And so that is why, Fu Hua was able to be appreciated and loved by the players. --- However, at times when we are not indulging in our love for her, we will always, ALWAYS drift our thoughts towards certain tempting thoughts: If Fu Hua could care less about the whole god damn world, if she were to value protecting her friends first for even a split moment, then would it possible for Cangxuan and Danzhu to not have to sacrifice themselves？If Fu Hua hasn’t suffered grave wounds at the mountain peak of Tianqiong, would she have been able to protect Chen Lixue during the Second Honkai Eruption? If the Will of Honkai did not help Celine during the Second Honkai Eruption, would our Sword Goddess of Taixu have been able to prevent a tragedy that spanned across the next 20 years? Etc. etc. --- All of these, are our regrets for Fu Hua, some of these wishes are strength/power level related, while others are related to her mentality. Last eon, she flowed with the tide. Current era, she executed plans and operations steadily as she was told, Are such passive and suffocating fate the only thing she will ever have in Fu Hua’s entire life? --- Before the main story line of Honkai Impact 3rd started in Chapter 1, Fu Hua experienced the passing of her families, the sacrifice of her friends, the tragic and brutal death of her only disciple……and even betrayal as well as the death that followed right behind. After the arrival of the new protagonist group Kiana and Co., the only thing that Fu Hua ended up becoming was a bright light that guided the path of her juniors. The only possibility left for her was to burn her last trace of flames. Are we really okay with accepting the fact that Fu Hua will be met with such an ending? --- But Writer Fu Lan (The literal “father”/creator of Fu Hua) stubbornly and ultimately successfully gave Fu Hua a chance, it may even be the last chance that he could possibly gave at this point: He made it so that Fu Hua’s Body returned to its peak condition, using “Fu Hua” who is now at her prime power level, or even beyond her prime, to bring about more possibilities. He then allowed a completely new soul to be equipped with Fu Hua’s memories. letting her try out, experiment, and ponder on new principles and values that guide her actions while re-tracing along the old path that Fu Hua once walked. This is also a good thing for the actual Fu Hua, because she would be able to witness and observe that stranger/amateur who has her memories, and see for herself what kind of actions she could have taken. In this way, she will be able to inspect and make a judgement, on whether she truly have regrets for the life that she lived, was it all worthy it? Does it deserve to be changed? --- There’s no need to hold back, to reserve oneself; Walk one’s own path without caring about others opinions; Zero fucks given to trifle matters and unnecessary decorum; Reverse all of creation……in actuality, this is also a “Fu Hua” that we craved for inside our heart, this - is The Herrscher of Sentience. She suppresses her inner childish nature as a newborn; She is willing to fight against the Honkai, which is a rare sight in and of itself considering all the circumstances of this world, despite all of her actions are her own method of affirming the meaning of her own existence. But of course, Dark Fu Hua’s problems are also very obvious: As a newborn, she is extremely childish. At the same time, the will of Honkai is constantly trying to influence her. As such, she often presents as rather violent and crazy; She often think about things and solutions starting from a self-centered, self-serving perspective; This is why Dark “Fu Hua” needed to eventually meet Fu Hua. They needed each other to complement the flaws in each other’s personality and state of emotions. At the very least, this time, my dear Fu Hua can finally finally, finally get some true well-deserved, long-overdue rest. --- All in all, if the story that is about to come is well-written, ANY ending for Fu Hua is acceptable for us fans, as it was one hell of a journey we traveled with her. If the remaining story was ill-written, no ending will ever be accepted by us. And god help whoever held the pen. @@Kodla Ahhaha, I m glad you liked it. I really like your reactions, as you are one of the few more knowledgeable reactors who knows about Honkai Lore thoroughly (You were probably the few reactors who didn't immediately just assumed Lixue was Fu Hua in that teaser lol)
IMO, she needs to die in order to have true rest, to find true peace. As our fellow chinese player stated, she has sacrificed everything she had for the common good. She became the light for us as much and as long as she could. I knew someone that sacrificed everything for her family (her work, her freedom, her studies, everything), her last 2 months of life she suffered too much because of her disease (skin cancer), and as much as we wanted her to take quimio or any other treatment, she said to her daughter "Please, let me go, let me rest. That is the prize that God prepared to me, I paid enough for my sins, and that is the only thing that I will ever ask to you all." As incredible as it may sound, the moment her daughter returned to work and the rest of her family understood those words, she passed away, with a smile so bright that you could see happiness and realisation. Back with Fu Hua, she needs to truly rest, to not be bothered again by earthly triffles, by stupid dramas or unending waves of monsters. She needs the rest and the peace that only death can warrant. And as people that grew fond of her, we need to let her story end here so she can truly rest. I love her, but we need to let her go.
Ya I get that and as someone following this series/game for so long I would like to see fu hua get the rest she deserve after all of that but not right now cuz are they really gonna make kiana fight this battle alone ? There is a proper time and place to finally say good bye but for fu hua to give up now and let someone else take over is like half assing it. We are approaching a big battle and everyone around kiana are seemingly leaving her to fight this battle alone. 3:55 the thing is that Durandal didn't realized that those were fenghuang down feathers until she made eye contact, this is why she is scared because now she is going to get attached immediately without being able to dodge. So fun fact I just noticed today, Mihoyo uploaded the new CG trailer on Bilibili, and the top comment for that video is BananaMace (Fu Hua's CN voice actress), replying with two doge emotes lol. I could be wrong, but that might be a sign she'll turn out okay? If her CN voice actress is taking it pretty lightly maybe Mihoyo won't crush our hearts to pieces again!
One of the main reason the devs brought back "Fu Hua" was EXACTLY to let her fight against the strongest cast of characters in Honkai Impact 3rd while at her prime conditions. WE WANT TO SEE THAT. we want to see what "Fu Hua" can do when she has ZERO restraint. How she fairs against each of those strongest warriors both past and present.
In that scene, the feathers weren't burning, they were getting purefied, if you pay attention the feathers were dark red with a dark red ora around them, and then they becam the normal Fu Hua feather shade

I really understand your feelings. When I first started playing Honkai in December 2020 (after playing Genshin for like 2 months+), I was quite surprised to see that Honkai has a 'relatively' smaller traction compared to Genshin. But I strongly believe that Honkai deserves more love with how amazing everything is about the game (from the manga, lore/story development, in-game mechanics, CGs and music). So I also get very happy whenever I see more people trying out Honkai :D ❤️
Why are we here? Just to suffer? For real, this game keeps getting us on the emotional train over and over again, every time a character dies we get broken from inside, and we keep gettint on that train over and over again!!!
We all know this gonna end horribly. Just look at Fu Hua’s story up till this point. I highly doubt 50K years of misery is going to end on a high note.

Yes, for me its shattered samsara short animation make me interested in cn honkai va, both jp and cn very good, and the kinda different emotion i get from that make it really interesting. If only they make cn version of cg in hi3 pc sea version it would be complete, or let us choose english text in hi3 cn version

I'd say Meteoric Salvation is also one better in CN than Japanese. Since Kiana's JP voice actor doesn't really suit her very well, and that short really shows it. I mean the difference in emotion when she sees Himeko is extremely clear. In CN her saying "teacher" expresses so much guilt, remorse, sorrow, and more. Yet in JP she just kinda shouts "Himeko!", which is kind of silly since Kiana stopped saying that name ever since Chapter 8 happened. I'd also argue Cyberangel is better in CN, just cause her voice actor Hanser is the one who sings the song in that short to begin with lol.

There is a proper time and place to finally say good bye but for fu hua to give up now and let someone else take over is like half assing it. I know it’s not for me to say this after all the hardship fu hua has been through but I say she suck it up and see this battle to the end cuz everyone needs her and bailing out now is like throwing away all the things she went through and care for if the world ends up being destroy cuz she wasn’t here to help
3:55 the thing is that Durandal didn't realized that those were fenghuang down feathers until she made eye contact, this is why she is scared because now she is going to get attached immediately without being able to dodge. In the meanwhile Kevin keeps his eyes on Fu Hua not caring about the feathers since he fought beside her the longest and knows the trick of her divine key

One of the main reason the devs brought back "Fu Hua" was EXACTLY to let her fight against the strongest cast of characters in Honkai Impact 3rd while at her prime conditions.
WE WANT TO SEE THAT. we want to see what "Fu Hua" can do when she has ZERO restraint. How she fairs against each of those strongest warriors both past and present.
With only a 30 second video, Mihoyo managed to make me cry because the music was too piercing to my heart
In that scene, the feathers weren't burning, they were getting purefied, if you pay attention the feathers were dark red with a dark red ora around them, and then they becam the normal Fu Hua feather shade

When I first watched the trailer, I totally forgot about 程立雪, I thought it was fu hua that got stab lol and I also forgot she loses her memory when she uses her feather. I really understand your feelings. When I first started playing Honkai in December 2020 (after playing Genshin for like 2 months+), I was quite surprised to see that Honkai has a 'relatively' smaller traction compared to Genshin. But I strongly believe that Honkai deserves more love with how amazing everything is about the game (from the manga, lore/story development, in-game mechanics, CGs and music). So I also get very happy whenever I see more people trying out Honkai :D ❤️

Reawakening is actually the only cg where I prefer Chinese rather than Japanese
I'd say Meteoric Salvation is also one better in CN than Japanese. Since Kiana's JP voice actor doesn't really suit her very well, and that short really shows it. I mean the difference in emotion when she sees Himeko is extremely clear. In CN her saying "teacher" expresses so much guilt, remorse, sorrow, and more. Yet in JP she just kinda shouts "Himeko!", which is kind of silly since Kiana stopped saying that name ever since Chapter 8 happened.
I'd also argue Cyberangel is better in CN, just cause her voice actor Hanser is the one who sings the song in that short to begin with lol.
