So jealous of your SPORE special edition, I've got the Galactic edition without the plastic case, SPORE was my favourite game as a kid (I was a bit late to the party with it) loved the freedom it had and it let my young imagination run free however, I did end up making many many penis monsters and even trying to create a human with a giant penis (I was a really weird 10 year old looking back at it now). *Edit* Also when getting the game out of the parcel it came in I scratched the box with a pair of scissors, I'm still gutted about that.
Arenos Karlaen I remember when that game released and youtube was filled with sporn videos, everyone just loved making penises in that game, didn't help that it had a direct to youtube video thing so everyone could upload.
I too remember playing a lot of the demo for Populous : The Beginning as a kid, but never owning it. I actually picked it up on GoG a year or two ago, but couldn't get into it.
Diablo 2 was so much fun. I played the crap out of that as well. A friend talked me into playing on Hard Core once and I got up to level 82 or 83 Amazon using Javalin. Sadly one day in a laggy cow level run I died. It was pretty sad face. But still it was a blast playing that game back in the hay-days.
sanitarium is quite fun... a weird graphic style for what is essentially a point and click adventure but if you can get over that it's a nice experience
He mentions someone sent him two big boxes of games to kick off his library, which there is a video of him unboxing, those were in it. They were just all sitting up in my closet.
I manage to get Ultimate Spider-man very cheap. I was lucky, because PC version are expensive. I'm looking now for Web of Shadows. All license games that come from Activision are quite expensive and even hard to find a copy
You might be best off playing the Dreamcast version of Soul Reaver. I remember the PC version not being great and I believe it was capped at 30fps while the Dreamcast version is 60fps at 640x480.
Like the video but who or what got you in to big box pc collecting and other then special editions do you have a preference for digital/physical modern games?
As someone who has played Sanitarium, I have a few notes. Game is really not much of a horror game as it would leave you to believe. First half is pretty good but there are parts in the second half that just shouldn't have been included. There is this one puzzle far in that will make you hate this game. Even with a guide it's still tough to solve. Amyways, can't wait to see you review it in October!
leejames929 Too bad about Maxis though. I don't think I could trust EA with creating a new spore as it could be riddled with so many micro transactions now. Though I wish someone could create a game similar to that of spore.

You could also look into getting a Witcher 3 physical boxed copy for more modern games. Also the Ultimate Spiderman box! Damn! Loved that game!

I had most of those games in box until a few years ago when my X threw them out. Feeling SOOOOO bummed right now.
