Is it weird that I don't really use deadeye in pvp or pve? Maybe because I only use freeaim on PC but I don't think all these deadeye restoration cards are that worth taking. @@PVPCat Good to know. I certainly would be interested in learning what build you do like. Most of your build videos assume dead eye players - I think this would make a good video.
How u doin' Cat. I really enjoy your tips, tricks & videos in general. I realize you're very good with ability cards. I'm just a regular, casual player. I'm just wondering what you think of a build with, paint it black, strange medicine, an eye for an eye & cold blooded. This build is for using any gun or rifle at any given time, doing any kind of activity.. Would you say it's ok for playing the way I do?
@@PVPCat Thank you so much Mr Cat for taking the time to reply! as I'm fairly new to online. Keep up the great videos & your views for this great game. I believe that you would of given me your honest opinion & suggested something different, if you thought a different card would be better.. You're one of my favorite utube guys.. Love ur sarcasm & sense of humour. Awesome work bro!!
I only use one build for both pve and pvp. Slow and steady, unblinking eye, gunslinger choice and peak condition. The navy revolvers destroy everything unless they are using slippery bastard. In that case I always keep a bow ready whenever I go pvp
You get about 25 seconds of dead eye using SB card and that’s if you are using level 4 minty big game and level 2 potent snake oil, together with the unblinking eye card at level 3 so that’s a lot of game resource used for such a small time window. How could you generate the cost of those cards back ? You can’t. I’m not sure how rockstar justifies these card prices as very very few ever recoup their expense. Unlike say the large delivery wagon where that extra 100 dollars from larger delivery pays you back long term. The sniper rifles are spectacularly profitable too, the whole trader role thrives on them. I think cards must be the most unprofitable waste of money in the game particularly in PVE. You can get game and herbs for free and that’s all you need to complete any missions. Maybe PVP is very different and I’m guessing it is and guessing that’s what the cards are for. You get 56 seconds with other red cards (apart from PIB) using the same formula.it would seem to me you need something back ie health from dead eye drain or else they are massively one sided resource intensive.
I usually play PvE/PvP with Paint it Black only. It adds a nice challenge because with my normal set-up, I can drop 50+ kills in games like Most Wanted, Public Enemy and Choose Your Weapon (it is an Auto Aim game). However it's been a couple of weeks since I've played any type of Showdown Series properly.
I never understood the point of PiB in PvE, when you use a controller your aim snaps to target anyway so just aim up a bit and fire. Kills faster than PiB and doesn't use deadeye. Am I missing something?
i run solid regen tank build in PvE .. works great, saves me a ton when doing legendary bounties at 5stars,, posse constantly dying while I'm left standing .. and for the occasional pvp attacks .. lol I win every fight.
@@mrwest2474 Primarily Slow and Steady is my Default dead eye card.. Occasionally switch to slippery bastard if I'm facing noobs spamming painted black. Then its always Iron lung, Never without one , Strange Medician ( PvE) or Fool me once ( PvP ) . coupled with t2 tonics at all times .. and make sure to keep a "pvp" outfit on your horse ie. one of the animal head coats from naturalist so your hat stays on for NWO. If you have even half-decent aim , and tactics.. you should win more than the majority of your pvp encounters.. and PvE should start to feel cheat easy.. Be advised .. you WILL be called a cheater by everyone that loses a fight to you, that's just the RDO community though .
In my opinion, Live For The Fight is a card slot waste. Drink a tonic instead. I also prefer Moment to Recuperate over Quite an Inspiration: it is more powerful. Small disadvantage: you have to turn it on again after getting a hit. No real disadvantage: does not work for team mates (that function sounds only good in theory imo). Btw, I change cards depending on _what_ PVE or PVP situation I’ll be in (no two fixed go-to-lists for PVE/PVP).
@@PVPCat Paint it Black and Gun Slinger are two counterexamples, I’ld say. And Live For the Fight is so slow... I’m faster looting tonics than that card... ;-)

@@Philzoid I could argue that the way the movement is structured in this game, ruins the fun. You shouldn't be able to run whilst shooting/aiming; it looks and feels off, especially in first person.
@@grivza Video games aren't suppose to be realistic. Being able to move while aiming is literally in every video game with guns. Movement is a skill, using cards to be godmode isn't a skill.
Definitely sharpshooter, Winning Streak’s buff drops when you miss a shot and it’ll take a bit to build it up to a really high damage bonus, where as sharpshooter is a flat chunk of damage along with defensive capabilities
Yo Cat daft question time coming but is there a certain way to straffe while sniping because I can never seem to do it,is there a trigger or button you have to use or just direction left right?
Glad you updated your opinion on “live for the fight”. For PvE it means I just always have a full dead eye bar ready, every time, without needing to think about it. Super convenient. There’s better cards for difficult stuff or pvp, but I find myself wearing this a LOT.
I personally use slow and steady, fool me once, peak condition and iron lung. It gets the job done. But I'm not sure if I should swap iron lung with something. If anyone has suggestions. Please let me know
Depends on play style I suppose. Maybe sharpshooter or eye for an eye. Maybe strange medicine. Never without one in case you "pulse" deadeye between cover

Greetings from America, tovarisch! What are your thoughts about best PVE build for players who don’t (or rarely) use dead eye? I usually rock Focus Fire / Winning Streak / Strange Medicine / Fool Me Once (especially with shotguns) or Focus Fire / Iron Lung / Peak Condition / Fool Me Once.
Don't really like both builds for pve, but first one is better
@@PVPCat Good to know. I certainly would be interested in learning what build you do like. Most of your build videos assume dead eye players - I think this would make a good video.
How u doin' Cat. I really enjoy your tips, tricks & videos in general. I realize you're very good with ability cards. I'm just a regular, casual player. I'm just wondering what you think of a build with, paint it black, strange medicine, an eye for an eye & cold blooded.
This build is for using any gun or rifle at any given time, doing any kind of activity.. Would you say it's ok for playing the way I do?
Great one for PVE
That's not really a good build for PvP
I thought PVE stood for player vs enemy, interesting.
RasputinCat would be awesome, maybe you could put a clip of the Boney M. song in your intro too
You get about 25 seconds of dead eye using SB card and that’s if you are using level 4 minty big game and level 2 potent snake oil, together with the unblinking eye card at level 3 so that’s a lot of game resource used for such a small time window.
Free aim*
te haz ganado un subscriptor, buen contenido mi Ruso, saludos desde México....
I use paint it black, iron lung, peak condition (peak condition and iron lung go very well together) and then never without one.
Is it super good
The office reference makes it even funnier 🤣
Great vid Catsputine
Good tips for staying alive in game Cat, nice vid🤠👍👍
Is Pib, peak condition, iron lung and fool me once à great build ? I hésitate to change fool me once by gunslinger...
Congrats on 30k sir
Спасибо, Джон)
I never understood the point of PiB in PvE, when you use a controller your aim snaps to target anyway so just aim up a bit and fire. Kills faster than PiB and doesn't use deadeye. Am I missing something?
U can paint targets n dont have to wait for the boom circle to be accurate
I play free aim so its a must in certain situations
Slow and steady used to be the game ender, could sprint on horse and it gave perfect accuracy.
For PVE I use paint it black.. eye for an eye. strange medicine. and the unblinking eye
i run solid regen tank build in PvE .. works great, saves me a ton when doing legendary bounties at 5stars,, posse constantly dying while I'm left standing .. and for the occasional pvp attacks .. lol I win every fight.
What’s the build ???
Awesome video. 👍
By fav pve build is....Moment to recuperate, Eye for an Eye, Iron Lung, and Fool Me Once.
You can replace most pve cards with tonics actually, but it will cost a lot)
@@PVPCat Paint it Black and Gun Slinger are two counterexamples, I’ld say. And Live For the Fight is so slow... I’m faster looting tonics than that card... ;-)
PVE (Player Versus Environment)
7 - Live for the fight
6 - Quite an inspiration
5 - Slippery Bastard
4 - Cold Blooded
3 - Eye for an eye + Gift of focus
2 - Strange medicine
1 - Paint it black
PVP (Player Versus Player)
7.1- Iron lung (honorable mention)
7 - Never without one
6 - Peak condition
5 - Slippery Bastard
4 - Paint it black
3 - Fool me once
2 - Sharpshooter
1 -Slow and steady
My build is
PVE - slow and steady, eye for an eye, fool me once, strange medicine
PVE - slow and steady, iron lung, fool me once, either never without one or strange medicine depending on the situation
No need on SaS for pve in my opinion
@@PVPCat Yeah, it really slows the tempo down. But nonetheless, there is really no need for any particular build/card in PvE.
Yawn, sounds like a real bore moving slow as f trying to have fun on a video game. I would rather watch paint dry. zzzzzzzzzzz
What's better for my carcano + double barrel shotgun setup , Winning streak or sharpshooter ?
Definitely sharpshooter, Winning Streak’s buff drops when you miss a shot and it’ll take a bit to build it up to a really high damage bonus, where as sharpshooter is a flat chunk of damage along with defensive capabilities
Would the winter beanie hat be good with never without one because it wraps around your head tightly
Lol
Landon's choice is very op with he elephant rifle
With slow and steady, what should I pair with it to make a proper tank build?
Congrats 🎉
Congrats on 30k
Ty
Yo Cat daft question time coming but is there a certain way to straffe while sniping because I can never seem to do it,is there a trigger or button you have to use or just direction left right?
Check sniper guide linked in the description, i explain it there
Glad you updated your opinion on “live for the fight”. For PvE it means I just always have a full dead eye bar ready, every time, without needing to think about it. Super convenient.
There’s better cards for difficult stuff or pvp, but I find myself wearing this a LOT.
How fast does it regenerate it?
I personally use slow and steady, fool me once, peak condition and iron lung. It gets the job done. But I'm not sure if I should swap iron lung with something. If anyone has suggestions. Please let me know
Depends on play style I suppose. Maybe sharpshooter or eye for an eye. Maybe strange medicine.
Never without one in case you "pulse" deadeye between cover
Very good video cat.
Would you say "kick in the butt" is mandatory while using slow and steady? Or not
Same as unblinking eye is for slippery bastard
1. Not really, but it's a good combination
2. Yes
Does sharpshooter work on bolt action and repeater if you have a scope equipped? 🐱
Yes, if you aim through a scope
True Story: When I was 5 years old I thought Jesus, Rasputin, and the Zig Zag Man were the same person. Spoiler alert ... They are not the same person.
comment for the tubes, спасибо Кэт ты красавчик просто.
Thnx bro, Your videos really help a new player like me.
Btw, I use focus fire+winning streak+strange med+Kick in the butt combo. Is this a viable mix or shd i change it?
New to this channel✌🏼
Hi
Interesting, thanks!
Im looking for a build that has god mode and be able to use dead eye too can you help for me ? Congrats for the suba btw
Could someone please tell me which button you press to mark targets using paint it black... I can activate it but never mark targets like I see in these videos. I use the PS4 .. thank you for the video 👌
It auto marks if you aim at target for few sec)
OnlyPVPCat many thanks will give it a try .. I’m level 141 and still haven’t figured it out 😂😂.. love your channel ❤️
would u consider slow and steady, peak condition, sharpshooter and fool me once a good line up?
Yeah
TBH I hate ALL the red card powers. None of them really fit my playstyle at all, so I'm basically forced to choose Focus Fire by default. PIB just never works for me under pressure, anytime I really need it to work it doesn't.
