I had a ganglion cyst that was a bump that would not let me bend my wrist. What they did was cut a little x and with a syringe thing sucked up what looked to me like vaseline jello and then pressed some what he called "cement" to keep it from filling back up. butterfly stich and bandage and baby your arm. It was done at the drs not a Operating Room and didn't take long at all. Is that the same surgery you are doing????. I was young so I don't remember what it was called. He kept telling me in the old days they would just slam a heavy bible on it.
