You passed a 1st edition card at 18:31 and another 1st edition one at the bottom of the box at 21:35 also you passed a card from expedition (e reader series) at 21:15
Update: just found another one, 1st Edition Phanpy @ 15:26
Looks like someone got mad at their kid. And donated their cards.
Which teaches the kid nothing because the parent paid for it!
@@JuanGrande386 very true "I'm so mad at you I'm going to donate these cards i spent hundreds of dollars on for you to goodwill!"
My toys would get donated if they weren't picked up and put away i know the pain lol
If you're wanting to know more about your Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh cards you should talk to your buddy Tendo.
good call...thanks for that!
Thank you for letting us share that experience man that was so cool I love when I find stuff like that it's just fun to go through even if you don't get hits and you got some hits
for sure Don...having yall come along for the ride is my favorite part of having the channel!
Gotta love a 10:1 return! That's what collecting is all about! Great video!
heck yes!! Another great week out there
Vhs tip I've learned recently- keep an eye out for weird 80s horror films. Pieces, The Howling, Silent Night Deadly Night, etc. And odd balls like Kiss Meets The Phantom At The Park.
It's crazy how I just get back to collecting pokemon cards and I log on to see you opening pokemon cards!!!
nice! Im starting to get the bug to collect....havent collected Pokemon cards since the original base set!
Driver SF isn't available anywhere digitally. Someone did a whole video dedicated to it
You had a few good cards in there - make your money back just on the Pokémon bulk. Of course the full arts you pulled were worth something but I did see a 1st edition pineco and at 21:18 there was a skyridge trainer (bottom right had the mountain logo). That card probably doesn’t have huge value but it’s the last set printed by wizards of the coast. The dialga platinum reverse is worth like $14 too
When it comes to the cards it's all about quality.
good score on the cards rick! sleeve up all the evolution base set cards, they all have some value. epically the pikachus and charmanders.
will do , thanks for the heads up James!
Insane find on those cards way to follow your gut something new to possibly look out for!!
I know right?! I was so surprised by how much value was in this?!
Been going to good Will for a week now and found 2 games for my collection and 1 res evil 5 steelbook, that i flipped within 15 mins of listing it. Thx Rick you inspired this.
You were right...I was yelling at my screen about Curse Eye of Isis. Glad you picked it up. Recently found a complete copy on Facebook Marketplace in a pickup.
Thanks to last week's episode having inspired me to dust it off, I've been enjoying playing the copy of Chibi-Robo that I've had for around 14 years but never got around to playing. If you're wondering why I got it in the first place just to not play it, my brother gave me his Gamecube and several games including Chibi-Robo when he got a Wii and I think I thought that I had actually played it because I conflated Chibi-Robo with Super Magnetic Neo on Dreamcast.
About Driver: San Francisco, I suspect the reason Ubisoft hasn't brought it back for Steam or console digital stores is that all of the cars were licensed and re-licensing the cars might be more costly than it's worth for bringing the game back. I'm glad I have my physical XBox 360 copy that I bought when it was new.
Nice Steve! I still need to give chibi robo a try!
There was a dinosaur pbs DVD worth about 30 next to that game... some pbs obscure shows are huge
The dates on the yugioh cards are the copyright dates for the artwork. The cards you have are the reprints from a few years back.
thanks for the info Justin!
"I'm gonna start going faster ..... Aw wait what's this?" - Retro Rick....lol I loved this episode. Keep it up man!
Really enjoy watching this channel, my first system was a Nintendo and had a system ever since. Love the 80's and 90's things
At 15:25 I saw a gen 2 card so there is old stuff in there
ill dig through them again!
not that its worth too much, but you passed by a neo destiny porygon and a 1st edition pineco. i also saw a E-reader era card border. there seems to be some vintage goodies within the common cards!
Yep! I timed stamped 3 misses but I probably missed some as well.
Driver San Francisco is awesome!! Childhood favorite of mine
i need to give it a shot!
I bought chibi robo from a local game store about 2 years ago for $45. Wow prices have changed!
Welcome to Portland Goodwill game prices, been like this forever, which makes it pretty much impossible to flip games around here.
The two trainer cards will pay for the box a few times over
been watching your vids (as well as Phoenix resale) the past several weeks. Always great to see BOLOs and such. WIsh i have Game Xchanges in my area tho. But do need to hit up the garage sales and pawnshops to get great deals!!!
do it...the deals are out there!
15:06 any banged cards like that tend to sell for a bit, reverse holo or not, its worth taking them out and checking condition
One of my favorite goodwills for game hunting raised all their game prices to $10. So sure enough, I find stacks and stacks of games there because no one is buying them at that price.
That urbz game is a special cover variant for the black eyed peas edition.
The reason Driver San Francisco is going up in value is because it's the last game in the series and was pulled from all digital store fronts.
The only way to play it is if you have a physical disk. This goes for the PC port as well.
Glad I got my complete copy from GameStop for $17 a couple years ago.
My goodwill would have sold this box of cards for $150 and that would be after they pulled out some singles and put them in the case for $60 each. They are crazy greedy with everything there and it's all free and donated to them. Used xbox 360 last week for $150, a mario cd/game zip up case for $50. Everything is usually dirty too, at least wipe it down for asking top dollar
Whoever put them in the box like that bad idea. DEFINITELY DAMAGED THEM YOU WON'T BE GETTING PSA TENS PROBABLY LOL. THOSE CARDS ARE SO DELICATE THEY'RE MADE OF JUNK ONE LITTLE BUMP BARELY MICROSCOPIC DING THE CORNER JUST BY TOUCHING IT IF THEY'RE NOT IN A SLEEVE BUT STILL AWESOME STUFF, ID GET IT IN A HEARTBEAT
Hey there, just wanted to let you know that that "curse" xbox game you left has alot of value to it. Keep up the great content, mainly watch your channel every day.
Nevermind just realized you noticed right after lol.
Goodwill keeps raising those prices unfortunately. Same thing in my area too 😞
@@Mrdrivereight many of the Goodwills check the prices before putting them out. Or put anything worth something on their online store.
Oh your area is starting to be like everywhere else they are finally catching on my goodwills are all 5.05 for games but they send everything off to auction worth over 10 lol
mine does that too. its really dumb. not even like calculators are safe:(
You can thank/blame Macklemore for increasing demand at Thrift Shops. All my good finds were before that song, "Thrift Shop" was a number 1 hit.
BTW have you seen Betamax cassettes?
About curse, consider mating it with an instruction book only on ebay and official liner notes.
Go to more rural area pawn shops ,like ,wherever the country people on the football team that you played were ,go to that town check the game exchanges too even GameStop I find 99 cent games all the time that are 10 to 20 dollars online selling on sites that aren't eBay or Amazon. That's funny what you'll find out in the country 20 mi away you won't find anywhere in your town
The scores are at the flea markets. I bought a large bag of vintage gi joe clothes and accessories for $5. I’m buying games at .50-$1. I recently also bought Pokémon saphire, ruby and FireRed for $20. This same guy is bringing me ps1 games for $10 every week. Screw goodwill. EDIT: how can I forget this weekends finds, two CIB Gameboy games and one still factory sealed for $10 each.
Awesome Pokemon/Yu-Gi-Oh! card haul! and some of the common Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokemon cards are worth a few bucks too, I would check them all out
thanks! ill give them alook!
nice find rick, but yea when it comes to the yugioh cards, 1996 is just the date of when yugioh started, not when those cards were printed
Hey Rick that other copy of morrowind is the game of the year edition and is worth a little more then the standard version because it includes all the expansion packs 😀
thanks for the heads up my friend!
New to your channel and looking forward to perusing all your content lol!! Love all things retro!! That Pokémon box was a insane bargain!! Awesome awesome pick ups, Congratz!!
A couple goodwills I saw started to raise their prices in games not sure if it’s because they caught on to resellers but I do have one location that’s my favorite since they still kept the same prices and have found great finds for a dollar
Can I ask y you have multiple double systems in the 10$ game collection instead of selling them to add funds ive been wondering
Id do in case one breaks. Hell I own 3 ps1's (2 NTSC and one for Japanese imports)
@@eduardohernandezlopez3550 ya I just know hes had to make space a few times... I thought there might be a reason maybe missing cords or controllers... He has his own personal systems in sure so 3 gamecubes and 4 NES there must be a reason
@@eduardohernandezlopez3550 I do the same thing. I try to have two of every system if I can for backups. Like have 2 n64's two nes, 2 saturn one is broken though, two wii u's lost of genesis model 1 and model 2. 2 ps2 twos and 2 ps1.
Awesome Pokemon/Yu-Gi-Oh! card haul!
For sure the jumbo card is worth at least $6 and the box probably has value as well. Awesome find.
Another great vid!
Do you ever ask if they have more out back you could see?
I do this in charity shops in the UK and they either let me out the back or bring out more!
amazin the views u have already shows how good the channel is Rick brillant vid again ... im addicted lol
so glad you are enjoying the channel Kelly!
If you want to get rid of the dice, commons, box and extras I'll give you $30 plus shipping for them, also Hoopa is a $5 card you threw down when you saw the Alakazam.
My Goodwills here in Florida now sells all video games for 9.89 each use to be under $3
i saw a comparable card collection at a goodwill the other week... for $500
Like seriously who do they think walking into their store is gonna drop $500 on anything?! They didn't pay a penny for anything, just mark it at a fair price to sell it!
Amazing pick up and I think you should do a auction on it all see what you get for all you made some really good money
Haha I knewwww you would swap in that NES with the stickers :D
I see 1e editions also. (18:31)😍 You make me grazy with this video. If you want know something from Pokémon please ask me. The Yu-gi-oh are old i have the same. And look good to your cards. Not all of Them are from the evolution serie.
It's not Monday without the $10 game collection challenge.
Yeah
Fr
That Jade Empire game for the Xbox you passed on is worth $20+ I actually have that game myself and it's an awesome game to play
Great video. Those cards were an awesome find.
Try $10 a game on for size, at my Goodwill...also, be on the lookout for PBS Kids Sagwa - The Chinese Siamese Cat on VHS. I just sold one on Ebay a couple hours ago for $40.
oh man that is rough
Heh I found a whole bag full of Pokémon cards a couple of years ago when they were worth pennies. Didn't bother picking them up. That's a pretty significant haul and I hope you can unload them before the hype goes down
reverse hollow are the ones
Goodwill went to the bad they send all good stuff to online bidding really took the fun out of it
Rick 13:56 that Dimensional Barrier is worth almost $7 on TCG Player. Idk if that is enough for you but it will sell relatively quickly
14:21 Topologic Bomber Dragon is definitely a great pull
Hey Rick how do you find the values for your items??
If your gonna deal with cards from time to time you should buy a sorting tray. They are very helpful for sorting all types of things.
Mad jealous about the channel chasers tape that's a good find
I will take those off your hands to support the channel
hey man! Facebook message me
If you ever come to flowood ms largest indoor flea market there is a guy with a huge collection of retro games and systems. You'll love it
I'm interested in some of those cards. Where can I contact you about them?
I love you Rick but being a card collector and card opening viewer, that has to be the most stressed out I’ve ever been watching a video lol just seeing cards upside down, face down, right side up, etc was killing me lol
16.22 yellow cheeks pikachu is worth some money ....if it had red cheeks and was shadowless then that's some big money
I once bought 45 alternative CDs in a binder at the Conway goodwill for $6.50. I live near Mountain Home now and these Goodwill's are garbage compared to those. I've heard that the employees google and buy/resale a lot. Sounds like conspiracy but.. I wouldn't be surprised. I know there are WalMart employees around here flipping heavily discounted items. It's common knowledge.
Prices went up at my local Goodwill too. Used to be $2-$4 for games. Today they were all $5, with some $2 GBC games in the case for $8. :( Luckily the store one town over is still with the old prices and I have a Outlet close by that sells games for $1.
My Monday night is not complete without Retro Rick!
I agree
Damn the Pokémon Card score was 🔥 Glad to see you getting into the Xbox library. Spyro and Morrowind are both Great games. Sucks to see Goodwills raising the prices(same here) awesome video!
At 15:08 there was a fake zygard
that N you found at 16:44 should be worth $35-$50.
thank you for the info!
Not sure how you looked up all the cards if you get the TCGPlayer app and you can scan each one and it gives you values instantly
He did
That score is better than the Eevee album I found a few months ago with 318 cards in it.
oh nice find too!
@@retrorick best card in it to me was the Holo Evolutions Mew card
Holy 75k subs !! Way to go rick . Road to 100k RUclips takeover !
The jumbo cards are worth money don’t miss that.
got it, thanks for the heads up!
How much for one of the nes consoles?
Wow almost 75 k I joint when u were around 8or9k keep going buddy love the content
The prices on games went up at my local goodwill also
its the worst...
My local goodwill hasn’t sold video games in almost 10 months. They all get shipped elsewhere and sold online.
Mine did the same thing
I love watching you go retro hunting, but personally, I like collecting VERY ok’d Disney stuff. Like from the 60s
When my son was in third grade a couple years back his teacher got upset at him and throw away a deck of cards that was pretty valuable. My wife just told him to suck it up he shouldn't have taken it to school in the first place
You as the parent should've been going to the teacher looking for compensation. Teachers have no right to throw away your kids property..... that you or your wife actually paid for
most if not all Yugioh cards will say 1996. But a few gems. Pokemons are cool too. Also super jealous... I dream of finding Pokemon/Yugioh cards at the thrift store.
that happend to my good will they dont know how to price there stuff so it went back down last time i went
that drawing is priceless :)
Holy shit. The box with cards and the games for less then $10.... Praying I'll find that too one day
I would keep those odd horror games, especially the ones that you can only find on certain system. one thing about horror collectors they tend to spend a lot of money on the games and what I see horror games values will go up and always will retain a certain value point.
@@videogamepolak0 Absolutly . gotta look into the VHS Horror movies some of them are insainly expensive. The ones to look out for our the "low budget" or indi ones that bring a premium
for sure...horror stuff is worth holding onto
Good quick money in the Pokémon code cards...they sell fast on eBay
Some of those red sleeves are gyrados very cool sleeves
nice...they are pretty sweet!
That's why you're the man you enjoy it and definitely comes through. it brings out the kid in everybody
I used to love driver on the Xbox 360
nice! Never played it...played san fran rush on the n64 though!
If you dont already have it download TCGPlayer app to look up prices
thanks for that!
Driver San Francisco is super underrated! Play it when you get the chance!
I see a base set squirtle
nice Kevin... one of my favorite Pokemon
It’s really annoying that they’re charging that much for the games. My local goodwill is doing the same. Funny thing is they only see value in certain things because I find other stuff quite a bit.
I thought it was ny thing to do this price gouging at goodwill
@@johnconner7813 nope they are doing it in Florida too
U got some bomb cards man, do it research on the yugioh, some of them were worth $$
It looks like you missed a full art or holo trainer in between you looking at the drawing and finding the baseball card
@Play is GameStop’s own accessory line.
Morrowind is a classic game you got to get that
Awesome pickups 👍
I want that stack of code cards lol 😍😍
