I was lucky enough to attend a Lennon b-day celebration in Strawberry Fields in Central Park for his 69th birthday, it was magical.
I hope to go to one of these gatherings one day.

A memorial or celebration happens here on 9/10 and 8/12. However, every day in 🍓Fields we find singers with guitar to the rhythm of The Beatles! 💙🍓🕊️👍🏻✌️
they are funny, happy people. and that two young guys long hair at the back, it's my first time I think to see him joined, and that man sitting while playing guitar, the violin man, the drummer, pianist, these nice guitarist guys. all the people. we hope we have more longer years to live to enjoy and carry on singing together👍👍

It makes perfect sense to play the Abbey Road medley which is mainly Paul's for a John Lennon birthday celebration, especially when John is on record on multiple occasions expressing how much he despised the Abbey Road medley, saying it was "trash."
I love the Abbey Road medley and I think this people did an amazing job.

It seems to have grown quite a bit since I was there in 2001. Happy to see it continue with more young people. I want to know who the guy in the expensive suit is - he seems to have taken control of the group, most of whom are most likely strangers to each other. Always a happening.

I could tell you that they don't all rehearse together and as fans, musicians know all of The Beatles' songs. It is possible that some belong to a band but they are not distinguished by anything, they only do what they like The Beatles music.
