Electronic Visual Distress Signals (EVDS) Information

Here is the latest regarding EVDS, soon to be introduced in Tasmania as an alternative to hand held flares. Remember, if you elect to use an EVDS you will be required to have on board a GPS EPIRB and a Vhf radio for daylight communication in a rescue situation.
