- #Vincent udio #SV237mkII 150w int amp #Unboxed Hybrid Technology
With an elegant, more modern approach than it’s predecessors, the Vincent SV-237 MKII is now capable of so much more. With a fresh redesign of the front panel, and all inputs brought up to a more modern standard in addition to the inclusion of a Bluetooth 5 input. Now music can easily be streamed to your amplifier from your phone or tablet. With a built-in Burr Brown D/A converter - working with a bit rate of 24 bit / 192kHz - the SV-237 MKII can effortlessly process high-resolution music files.
The SV-237 MKII uses Vincent’s “best of both worlds” approach to hybrid technology with two 6N1P tubes working in the pre-amp section, for a natural and warm sound, and 4 transistors used in the power amp section for better dynamics. These can deliver up to 250 watts power per channel.

Lovely bit of kit - I love this channel, it’s so no nonsense - the equaliser moment was another gem
Nice design, I like the heavy duty look it has
They weigh a lot
I have the earlier version. It's SOLID. Love it.
Looks awesome. Like the "eyebrow raise" on the mention of an equalizer. Had one decades ago when they were in vogue.
You always make nice videos, it's just throwing the packaging and instructions into the room that really doesn't work. Of course, you're the only one who makes the decision. I've been following your channel for a long time and that's the only thing I've noticed over and over again. Thank you very much.
Totally disagree. That's one of the things I like about these videos - the contrast between our host's calm demeanor and the absolute unwillingness to deal with the clutter of packaging either through extra editing or keeping the packaging waste in frame.
@@svalbard01 very nice, keep it up....
I enjoy seeing the debris field at the end.
As always, a first class presentation.
Thank you
👍👍
👍
Ive been eyeballing the 228 cuz VU meters matter 😂
It is pretty sexy
My understanding is that the tubes are not replaceable.
Everything is serviceable. You may not be able to just pull them out with your fingers - that all.
She's a beaut
Yes - Lovely
this thins is a failure since doesn't have XLR balanced inputs/outputs (preout)
I disagree, Given its RRP I woudl not expect Balanced inputs, and the quality of the onboard amps imply you woudl never need to pre-out to any external amplifier.
@TLPCHC let's forget about preout my concern is balanced inputs. Many int. under 2k have the inputs Ever Solo, smsl wiim etcc
It is common for cheap amps that have a Balanced input, to ignore the balanced design and use a single ended circuit
@TLPCHC balanced connections are for clarity dynamics and big sound stage. Hard to believe a $2500 int. Amp lacks balanced inputs. Wanted to save a few dollars
