I went to see Jinjer this past Monday night in Lubbock, TX. It was absolutely amazing. If you ever get a chance to see them live, take it. Videos do not do justice for the sheer talent of this band. The power and control that Tatiana has over her voice is mind blowing. Dynamite definitely comes in small packages.
Definitely do on stage next. I think I'd most enjoy seeing Ash react to Who Is Gonna Be The One official live... especially that one part heh. Sorry, not sorry.😂 Perennial live at Wacken, Pit of Consciousness live in Kiev (now Kyiv) are great options. Captain Clock at Resurrection Fest doesn't have as perfect recording quality but the performance is epic. And the official videos of Home Back, I Speak Astronomy, and Vortex are some great ones. Perennial and Pit Of Consciousness both have epic videos too and some have done double features with the official then live. Cheers!
Oh and if you want to hear a song with almost all melodic vocals, check out "wallflower". It' so pretty and only gets heavy the last minute of the track.

6:00 - Every song she sings live is a one-take performance, Ashley, so this was just business as usual for her. 😉 Plus, this was recorded at her boyfriend's (now husband's) house in California during one of the lockdowns that didn't allow her and Eugene (the bass player) to leave the US and she had Mr. Pepino (the cat) for company inside that improvised vocal booth (you can see her smiling at him a couple of times), so I'm sure it was a stress-free environment. 🙂

Tatiana was in a band named "The Kodry" before Jinjer that was a cover band.... only they did the covers in a really oddball reggae-esque way. This is definitely a nod to that band. There are videos here on YT of The Kodry and another band of hers from a very long time ago named "Prophecy" where a young Tatiana shows us that yeah, its absolutely her doing the harsh vocals
What I find really interesting about this performance is that you can see wonderfully how her neck and upper body work. You can see immediately when the change in the voice comes. Even before you can hear it. Eivør - Falling Free (live) Pls react to this. I think you'll like it. Also a unique voice this woman. A wonderful song.

When she sang “all your good intentions are muted and disabled”, I along with the rest of the crowd yelled “BOOYAH!” That’s when I realized that I liked it. I guess it’s the crowd reaction that put it over the top for me. -A song that I think y’all might enjoy is “Bad Water” especially the official live version. Like a lot of people who came late to the party, “Pisces” is what got me interested in them.(I try not to say that it got me “hooked” for the obvious pun.) After listening to it a lot, I decided to check out more of their music. I checked out “Judgment and Punishment”, “I Speak Astronomy”, “Retrospection”, and “Wallflowers.” Yet, they didn’t click with me. I was looking for another “Pisces” and these weren’t it. So, I checked out the live version that Napalm put out of “Bad Water.” By the end, I thought “This wasn’t “Pisces”……but it was damn good.” I also said to myself,”Okay, I get the band now.” It’s why I consider them to very much be a metal version of Queen. They’re not afraid to go in different directions with their music. There’s so many styles they utilize and do it seamlessly.

I've been in the Jinjer bubble since 2013 when I saw and heard them live for the very first time! Above all, I find the development since then exciting, of the entire band and also of Tatjana over the last 10-11 years since I was able to see them live a good 15 times! I would suggest you continue with some reactions to Jinjer from the beginning of 2012/13 and then up to about "today" or what everyone knows by now! I always suggest starting with the Jinjer videos like: Outlander, Scissors, Exposed as a Liar, I want it i'll get it, The Prophecy, Words of Wisdom, Sit Stay Roll Over.... There are a good 10 more and more as a suggestion, but I think these are something from the beginning and not as widespread as the usual videos.... You can simply see an exciting development of a great band and artist, and especially from that point on 2016 when Vlad became their new drummer and they became even more extraordinary in terms of influencing other styles of music into their metal world...
