The Malibu SS should have a more powerful power train like a 2.5 liter turbo engine and an 8 speed automatic transmission. Not a CVT

I wonder if Chevy will make a 2025 Malibu Hybrid or fully-electric version.

The car on the cover 🔥 for the next Malibu. We'll see. They will for sure use some of the prev names on an EV or CUV or SUV. The Traverse is basically today's Impala.

Hell, just a V6 with a real transmission would be a start. How about a totally restored 66 Malibu SS for about what this 4cyl turbo turd costs?

this is like listening to the Russians talking about their new tanks because they dressed up the old tanks with cool badges but underneath the same outdated crap. Why don't chevy actually improve these cars?Hire someone from Toyota to complete it.

GM doesn't need a Malibu SS AND a Nova SS. Pick one!

How about exuding some headroom. Not everybody is 5 feet tall.

Maybe a bigger grill, more fake air dams, more bulging contours and stick 6 tailpipes in the back. Looks like a Honda Civic from the back. Maybe some taller wheels and like some 245/25/22s? How about a NA V6 instead of a motorcycle engine with a turbo trying to move a 3500 pound car. That car has to have more plastic on it than metal. Just my opinion, the last half way normal looking cars, before the grills got as big as a Dodge Ram, were about in the early 2010s. Looks kind of like a cross between a 4 door camaro and a crossover. Probably starts at 35-40K. What's the base engine, a 1.0 3 cyl. CVT? Like the 9 speed wasn't already a big enough piece of crap that could barely make it to the 60K mile warranty. I'll stick with my 2005 Impala SS with the pushrod 3.8 , iron block/ heads with an antique Eaton supercharger and a dinosaur 4T65E trans all still going after 158,000 miles without any major engine or trans work. This monstrosity looks like a space ship.

EVs have nothing to do with this the main problem is that they oversaturated the market with too many SUVs trucks and crossovers.... The EV Market needs to have the proper instruction in order for it to thrive in and eventually it will..
Furthermore this post is basically clickbait I don't know for 2025 or 26 if the Malibu will return but eventually it will be discontinued and its present form and I don't think there's going to be a performance version of that unfortunately GM doesn't have the Guts or the common sense to create one so I wouldn't be keeping myself up awake at night to wait for the shoe to drop.

Should have at least a 2.0 engine. I am disgusted with GM Chevy. I have bought dozens from you.
