Hey, glad you found this video. Derrick playing in Japan is always special, his sets there are so different then when he plays in european festivals and stuff, he seems to put more line, emotion and master into his sets because of the audience. I know derrick is really sensitive dj that what's why's he's the greatest..

That's deep bro! It's great he played there that night as one of the few western artist. I think the relationship with Derrick and the Japanese audiences is a strong one.. In my opinion a lot of Europe guys just go to a club to get waisted, have fun or do drugs. It seems to be a lot more about the music in japan. If you dig deep into the vinyl's you can find in Japan or Europe, you know all the white labels from the D are in japan..

he plays a lot of older housetracks from early nineties in this set, most likely cause its a 3 hour set and dedicated to japan and its people

What is the instrumental track at around 1 hour 49, with the bare synth chime sort of arpeggiating, and a real violin played over the top? So beautiful! The track listing shown doesn't seem to match up. Grateful if anyone could name the artist!
