Lovely birds! I think they are farther north in Maine than where I go ( southern Maine near Old Orchard). Would love to see them on the rocks near the water and flying around.❤
I wish they were in the OOB area since I live less than an hour away. However, you have to drive at least a couple hours north and then take a boat cruise out to see them.
You probably didn’t know because they’re not in Maine yesrround. You’re most likely to see them there from May to August. They’ve usually moved on past the summer. 🙂

A. didn't realize they lived as far south as Maine. B. didn't realize they could fly, I thought they were flightless like penguins.
If you do not smile when you see a Puffin, I fear you are not capable of joy. Also, I notice many if these birds were banded.
