what rendering do you select in Final Cut when creating the project file? I always do Apple ProRes 422 but since shooting in 10bit D-Log should I be using 10 bit uncompressed?
Sure! Before you start making colors look fancy, it's a good idea to do some basic color correction first. You can achieve this by using a conversion LUT or adjusting the contrast, exposure, and saturation manually. Also, don't forget to set the right white balance - it'll make color grading much easier later on. Cheers!
@@Romafedorov Thank you for the reply but there is no lut for Pocket 3. Not in the five listed the on the Gumroad webpage. Communication breakdown? Cheers
yeahI exposed it ! Does Davinci Resolve free version support 10bit video?@@Romafedorov I can show you an example my video looks the same as this video ruclips.net/video/-ImH0WD1PF4/видео.html anyone found this issue in the free version of Davinci Resolve?
Thanks so much for this LUT!! It’s the best I have found so far!!
Glad you like it!
Thanks for the exposure tips. I come from a Sony system where you “always” need to over expose
One of the best free LUTs, thanks much!

Welcome!
What is the base ISO for D-Log M? To get the most out of Log you don’t use the lowest the camera can do. ISO 50 is not ideal so why use it?
Great tutorial. I shall try your LUT. Pity tutorial was not using Premiere Pro, but I guess you cannot use everything. Thank you.
Thanks! You can get pretty much the same results in Premiere Pro.
Thank you for the tutorial. I tried your LUT and found it to be the best I have tried - better than the DJI one. Thanks for sharing it.
Cheers!
Thank you bro 👍
Chiang Mai,Thailand? Great❤❤❤

I just do H264, Better Quality. There is no need to export in ProRes if you just upload to RUclips.
@@Romafedorov I'm talking about when you set up a project, not when you export
Great video 👍. Can it be useful to first apply the dji d-log m to rec.709 lut before starting manual grading? Or better to avoid that?

I cannot see the free lut for Pocket 3, only for Osmo Action 3, is that the same? 👍
What do you mean you cannot see? There is a link in the description. The Action 3 LUT is not the same..

Why D-Log M and not HLG?
Because i'm not shooting HDR, and I want to capture the maximum possible dynamic range, which D-Log M provides.
Oh, you want a donation before I can try the lut. Such a pity.
No need for a donation. Just type 0$ and download the LUT.
