That is crazy insane ! I was wondering about the chains when they were picking up , I never saw chains laying out ? And the release was just as fast !!! I like ! Good job 👍

I live in Oregon and seen ships loaded all the time. I always wondered how they were offloaded.
Nothing but respect for these people, how long are shifts for the log loader crane drivers picking up the logs for the loading platform?
usually they do a 12 hour shift

it takes about a week to fully unload the cargo :)

In Sweden they will unload this in a day. Your way is very ineffective.

I can't understand how it work on the platform without people , how it unfix without workers?
their wires have an auto release mechanism that unlocks the moment it is no longer suspended
some cranes have operators that have a remote to the wire that they can press to release the wire locks
there is an electric activated switch on the cable ends.

Trees are a crop no different than corn just takes more years to mature
25 yrs and the pine forrests are back again, all pine forrests replanted
