@@mistywww3199 thats not true, skins below the 1820 RP also get changed dances some even get changed voice lines. A good example is Moo Cow Alistar whish is 950 RP(correct me if I am wrong). Also the Blosom skin for yone and lilia they both have changed voice lines.

Here's a list of what has been changed from the pre-release version:
- Some tonal adjustments were made to bump up the rock feel of Blade of the Ruined King (Q) a bit more

I was really hoping this skin to be a legendary. Imagine all the possibilities, considering how much Viego fits this theme so well :
- unique voicelines exploring the deep Pentakill lore teased on Riot Games Music channel
- passive metal riff that scales in intensity as he chains possessions with a climax reached as he makes a pentakill and possesses the last ennemy
- special emotes where he actually plays guitar
- new animations, like I don't know, a homeguard running animation where he steps on spectral crowd hands trying to reach him like a rockstar, R animation that makes him use his sword like he's throwing a chord when he executes someone...
and that's just some dump ideas I had while I was bored in bus

i feel like the sounds effects for this skin could be a lot better, huge missed opportunity to have a guitar riff during the e, also the auto sounds the exact same
What do you mean his E sounds the same? It has a SFX for the cast and there is music playing during being stealthed.
Granted, it´s way too quiet, but look at 2:55 and put the volume way up. You´ll hear the electric guitar and bass.
Sadly, his autos sound the same though, yes. Generally, I think his SFX are way too quiet.

I think they should put more music effects or details in this skin, i mean, it doesnt reminds me of pentakill tbh. It just my opinion.
Edit: After watching and participating in that awesome concert, i understand Viego its a Pentakill’s enemy and i wont complain about any Pentakill skin, they, together with that music are just soo cool!!! But hey, Yorick is still needing his hat!

thankfully, there's quite a few champions who deserve to get a legendary skin
His dance should have been air guitaring with his sword
I mean, if his recall summons strings on it to be a guitar, he wouldn´t need to play air-guitar since he can make a real one.
the color scheme saves this skin for me. yea the sound effects are a missed opportunity but the heavy red and white is a really good color combination especially for this champion

For a pentakill skin there isnt that much guitar sfx …. Especially on the ultimate. It’s basically only in the W.

Kids these days dont realize back in my day I had to drop 10 dollars on a skin that didnt have any particle effects :

Before Udyr (first legendary) everyone was in love with skin if it changes graphics of abilities and if it had custom voice lines like legendary Brolaf with your mom comments AND recall animation (Brolaf didn't have that if i remember correctly but you know what I mean)? That was instantly declared as the best skin ever made. I remember like today when I bought Steel Legion Lux (with money for my 13th bday) and was hyped like never that I will be playing my main with changed visual for skins (also that skin is broken, q, e and r have weird non realistic range compared to hitbox AND it's hard to see some spells.
Why Lux skin when there were way better skins to other champs for same price? Because I was maining Lux 2012-2015 thanks to Azubu Frost midlaner, RapidStar, who was declared one of the best midlaner and best lux at that time. He also recorded 2 minute video with tips and tricks for Lux (You can find it on RUclips - "Pro Player Pick: Rapidstar Picks Lux on official League page"
If someone is nostalgic of old league or wasn't playing at that time check out Pro Player Picks series, every player in play-offs of worlds at that time recorded video about their main, how to play it and tips and tricks. Good S2/S3 - 2012/2013 times. So if you watch some pro player picks you will see who was in the playoffs but the best and only series I would advise you to watch is of course finals.
TPA (Taipei Assasins) vs AZF (Azubu Frost), you know who won because of the skins but that was wild series between best team at the time AZF and underdog black horse of the tournament TPA.
AZF (current LCK) was clear favorite to win from the start, if not then maybe M5 (EU - current LEC) but anyone else wasn't considered rival for him and any chance of winning would be if azf faced m5 early on. But 1. no one in NA and EU could and was watching eastern teams except LCK so they didn't know much about TPA for example.
M5 is Moscow Five - it was a legendary EU team with for example Darien who went to play in playoffs on the scene in sweatpants with drawstring hang under his b@lls, he didn't give a f*ck and was very decent.
But not just that they were meme, they were meme because of things they did/said WHILE BEING LEVEL ABOVE OTHER EU TEAMS (except EU CLG in S2). Their players were one of the best in each position and they had amazing chemistry, they were famous for getting ahead from just one mistake, worse version of season 3 T1 but still, they banked of every mistake. Their roaster was so famous that even if you don't care abou old esports and startz playing in S6+ chances are that you know at least one player of M5, especially Diamondprox or Alex Ich who was famous for popularizing Kha'ZIx midlane for example, who on his first competitive game on Kha did penta vs EG.

Win of TPA was really surprising, they were the dark horse expected to finish in 1/4 and maybe even semis but not on azf or m5 level, especially if you look at player vs player of the other team. But their really showed what this game is all about and that people should start watching eastern leagues.
PS. Yes I know that probably no one will read it, just this thread made me nostalgic and I decided to write whatever I was thinking about that era of skins for 975 which did more or less nothing.

The color scheme is similar to yasuo’s prestige, but with some bronze
I feel like this skin got so much hype because the splash art was awesome and poor Viego was in desperate need of a good skin, but personally, this feels... incredibly underwhelming. His autos sound exactly the same as his base form, his Q is very similar, his W just has a little swirl and a colour change from the swirly green/black to swirly red/black and only his E and R feel substantially changed (and his passive). Compared to Sona, who has epic metal sigils around the edge and every ability has a new sound effect, or Mordekaiser whose E could not possibly look more awesome... I feel like they could have gone so much harder on this one.

I hope there will be a legendary or even ultimate skin for Viego if another new Pentakill lore is released... Something like Dissonance overlord Viego, Dissonance Lightbringer Viego or something.
Visually? Fantastic, love the clothes, love the colors, love the visuals of the abilities, love it all.
Audio though? SUPER dissapointing. If they didn't tell me this was a pentakill skin in the title, the only thing that might hint at that is the recall animation. Otherwise, would have no idea

They really... should've put more emphasis on the Conqueror song in this skin. It should've been present in the backing effect or dance or something because that song is what really SOLD this skin and sells the character.

This is still his best one. The visual effects are just great, and the sword is the best-looking one. The main downside of this skin is that it's model looks a bit too much like the base skin.

This could have easily been a legendary or even ultimate skin given that Viego had all the attention during his event, this shit as it looks right now - just looks like a shitty repaint from season 1 or 2 with some random pentakill music flextaped to it. Would have been awesome to have cool new animations for attacks and the mist would be spreading dissonance - as it crawls across the rift you hear metal and rock music as it approaches from the distance, just like in the "Accounts of the Aftermath" event trailer. Such a wasted opportunity and I for sure won't be getting this what feels like an overpriced base skin chroma.
