The "drums of liberation" beat is unique that it stands out from all others and makes it one of my favorite Rustage Songs of all time. It gives me the WOW-faktor when i hear my playlist in shuffel and it comes up. Also Drums of liberation got me back to hearing rustage songs
As much as I like rustage stupes just brings magic to everything he touches, unironically musical Midas.
at 48:57 rustage talks about how he thinks devil's luck performed well because his dnd audience is very passionate, and I'm sure that's true, that definitely had a major effect on how the song performed, but I think Devil's luck is just that good, that even though many people who listened to it don't listen to your dnd podcast, they still listened to it, I genuinely think its one of rustage's best songs this year, if not of all time.
I started playing Devil's Luck on loop for weeks after randomly hearing it on the album, and I had no clue that there even was a One Piece DnD campaign he was doing. Only after seeing the music video for it, and wondering who the one piece looking characters in the video were, is when I found out. I can't imagine how hard the song goes for people who fully understand the references.

I'm late to it because I don't actively keep up with Rustage, but my personal favorites are Light of the sun and devil's luck.
Halley's Comet is one of my favourite songs. I sent it to several friends to tell them how I feel about being a bad friend, and its in their playlists now cause they liked it so much. Most of them dont even listen to rap but apparently this hits so hard with different types of people aswell.
Rustage, if there is more than a couple songs B tier or lower, your opinion is invalid.
Also the Spot Rap is S for sure, what you said is real
Been waiting eagerly for this one. Absolutely RIDICULOUS year, man! I was sure you wouldn't be able to top 2022, but then again i had an inkling i'd be wrong. As always, listening to the behind the scenes for this list of bangers and watching you react to them was crazy! There's a reason we all look forward to these.

i have been following this music journey for about 4 years now, and i have enjoyed a lot of stuff coming from you. i started listening since the escanor rap "god" and since then i have seen the subtitles go from the bottom of the screen to all over the screen. maybe its nostalgia or not but the old naruto raps, cyphers, and solos are close to my heart but the change that started around "uchiha" rap i think? was so cool to see. as you can probably tell i am not good with words but tldr: keep doing what u do man the dnd stuff and the music its all cool and part of my childhood now and i think i will remember till i live. top 5 songs of this year would probably be:

The choice to rap over a remix of the OG OST was PERFECT. That rap and the Doofenshmirtz rap are easily the most replayed raps of yours by both myself and my twin brother! I will say. Abstract is not only my favorite of the year. Its my favorite of all time. I will say it may be the best nerd-core song ever written at all. And that's coming from someone who was a fan of a lot of these songs and had more attachment to some of the other raps characters Namely One piece dnd, Spot, all the myth songs. And STILL truly can say with my whole chest Abstract is in my opinion the closest thing to a perfect song.

I listened to devils luck many times and not once have I seen the dnd videos. I might…but as of now I haven’t. This makes it more of a testament of how good the song was for me. Though I do believe many of the songs were great

and there is a lot of good ones i have like a few playlists like "stand our ground" and a few other loved every single one of them

the most satisfying thing for me is re-listening to One Piece raps and getting all of the references, so satisfying
i actually really liked freefall cos it can also be pictured as being in love and i think it’s one of my favourites then there’s sun wukong, anubis and all the mythology and history which i js absolutely loved like mytho and king arthur and my fav op was devils luck along with will of d (luv it when manbehisla played william and u included him in the will of d) and drum of liberation which was nice and sanji like u are amazing rustage and u make look at ur work as the creator and be disappointed in some and straight out hate some like freefall but in the eyes of one ur listeners these r amazing and they really communicate what u were going for and i luv all of the songs that i listened to and i don’t think there was anything wrong with them in my eyes so don’t put urself down as much as u do cos ur js amazing at what u do and i’m sure many more people would agree

The story I subscribed to is King Arthur pulled the sword Caliburn from the stone and that made hime king, but it later broke during one of his adventures and he got a replacement (Excalibur) from the lady of the lake.

For king Arthur i think its important to mention that the sword in the stone isnt Excalibur its actually Chastiefol (the thing the spear in 7DS is named after) hence why it breaks in a random battle, the one from the lake is the true Excalibur, this is all from what uve heard from an assortment of places

Honestly, for red 3 each of them represent the 3 perfectly! Daredevil as rustage fits well and Deadpool as Conner is great as Deadpool is known to say some fucked up stuff and in the hook the line “feel so good like a wet dream” just sounds like something Deadpool would say and since shwabadi didn’t want that line it’s perfect fit for spooder man
