I think that the thinkpad is a better option comparatively but you can not add DDR5 RAM on both the laptops.

Envy is more premium compared to the Pavilion. 12th Gen envy is also very good in terms of performance. It will have better SSD speed, display, battery life, build quality and more compared to the Pavilion.

Not the best time but kuch saalo se theek hea. Aur pahle to bhaut bad gaye the agar purana laptop hea to wait karo. 1 saal se 6 mahine mea ddr5 ram aur 13 gen aa gayegi. Kyuki ddr5 ram ban chuki hea bas aa kam rahi hea 1 se 2 saal baad vo standerd ho gayenge.
just buy macbook air M1 256 gb shall be fine for many years, presently available for 84k !
If you are looking for a windows laptop I think you should wait for the 13th gen laptops to be available widely and if you are going for a Mac then you can go for the MacBook Air M2 which is in your budget as well.

I bought this same laptop but the screen is not antiglare! HP Pavilion 14 i5 12th gen do not come with antiglare. How did you purchased your with antiglare?
Some of them are coming with antiglare screen while others are coming with a glossy scree. The version that I have is different as it comes with a dedicated graphc memory and anti glare display.
