I love how your videos are more informative BECAUSE they are exaggerated and made to be comical. It makes the reality feel normal and approachable if people travel to Japan, because people have been informed in a humorous way. My sister lived in Japan for five years, and when I visited, it was nice to be able to make a good impression without feeling awkward, since I had someone to inform me. Being that person for all your viewers will hopefully improve people's own experiences, and encourage them to explore Japan for themselves without worrying about being cringe.

Japanese Love Hotel is equivalent to Brazilian Motel.
Motel in Brazil it's usually on the road, cheap and you get there by car just like it's cousin in the US, but it's main purpose is the same of a Love Hotel.
Curiously, in some critical situations; due to lack of money or options, people also use it as a normal and cheaper hotel.

Having just discovered this channel, I've been binge watching Sora's videos. Entertaining and educational, a great combination. Btw, it's interesting to read the comments on channels that show Japanese commercials. Many folks just assume that all Japanese commercials are the weird, creative ones that they see online. From my understanding, the majority are typical commercials similar to what gets shown in most countries. To me that makes the really great ones that more special. When something becomes the norm, it becomes less interesting and entertaining.

From a different mindset, in Spain, if a person is laying unconscious in the street people go and try to help. They will ask you if you are ok, if you need help to go home o if you need them to call an ambulance to go to the free hospitals and medical centers we have. I have fallen in the street and hurt myself a lot of times and people come quickly to see if you are ok. One time I tripped over and hurted myself in the head, I was bleeding (I wasn't drunk and it was in the afternoon, I'm just clumsy). 4 or 5 people came fast, trying to help me, a boy was calling an ambulance and a girl even stayes with me all the time holding my hand and saying it will be ok. A guy from a hotel nearby brought me water. This is usual in Spain, people cares, and this really makes me feel safe. I will be sad and scared if I'm laying on the street and people pass by me ignoring or not caring.

Here in Denmark, I've also experienced that little girls enter the men's locker room, especially at swimming pools. It actually happens for both boys and girls, whenever their same-sex parent isn't present, because then the child would have to join the opposite-sex parent when they get changed.
I think it's easiest to just act like the child isn't there. However, I have experienced that there was an older girl, probably around 7-9 years old. She seemed much more aware, and kept staring at me... now THAT was awkward.
So I think it should only be acceptable if the kid is preschool age.

I would imagine it's a great option for a group of friends that wants to hang out and maybe watch a series or movie, play a board game, just chat, etc. Even if nobody has enough space available at home, or if they don't want to bother the other occupants of the home, they can still have the privacy and comfort you don't get at a public venue such as a bar.

Til this day, I regret asking "What is Kanamara Matsuri?" in Sora's stream in front of everyone. Looks like it came back to bite me...
*Love hotels is something I didn't know about until I played Persona 4 ☠️

I don't know if my Japanese is getting better, or you're just talking slower, but you're getting easier to understand.

the first time I came as a tourist with some friends, we had to emergency book the last day in a love hotel, it was hard because despite being in a place with a lot of love hotels nearby, no one would accept us (for being foreigner, queer, being 3 people, we'll never know) but the only place where we could book was around 18,000 yen for 1 night (around 6 years ago, Tokyo), so at least for me it's kind of expensive to go spend time in a love hotel (they are pretty comfy I'll give them that).
As for the fainted people you see on the streets (not only Fridays but weekdays as well), no comments

The only explanation of why love hotels are that cheap, is because they are more similar to Motels than to other hotels

I like seeing these videos just to see how Weeb Sora calls Japan weird and RUclipsr Sora calls him out at the end. Not to mention Serious Sora is interesting that he appears out of nowhere when American Sora gets something wrong.

Japan 1000% has weird commercials. But I think it's because they've figured it out. Appealing to our logic or emotions doesn't sell a product. An interesting / funny commercial will stick with us forever, and in that way the product will also stick with us forever. I think Japanese advertisers have cracked the code.
