An admirer from Lima, Perú here. I learned about his work earlier this years (he has a few interesting articles and insightful interviews out there) and has become one of my favorites. I love his brushwork and use of colour. I think I understand his images and the life and energy he was trying to communicate. His rabbi's paintings are my favorite ones. I hope he gets more recognition as time passes.
This exhibition at the MFA was stunning, moving, memorable. Equally moving is Stella Bloom reminiscing about her husband and the recognition he deserved.
