  • When I received my delivery, I was expecting a rather large box to arrive but this was not the case. Packed inside a small size box was my Tefal Ingenio Titanium Fustion 12pc Set. Goes to show how space saving this set really was.
On opening the box, I was thinking about all the amazing dishes I could cook. Included you get a 26cm Frypan, 28cm Frypan, 24cm Saute Pan, 26 Stirfry Pan Wokpan, 22cm Casserole Saucepan, 2 Removable Handles, 2 Hermetic Lids and 3 Glass Lids.
I can’t believe how little space the whole set actually take’s. Everything sits so neatly together. Whats different about this cookware to any I’ve ever used is the removable handle. You get 2 in this set and they are super easy to attach and unattach from your pans. There is a leaver that you press to clip on and there is a button you press to release the handle.
Not having handles on each pan is the reason I love this set so much. No more handles getting in the way. You can easily store your items in one another. The removable handle feature is perfect for when you are cooking from stovetop and need to transfer to oven. No need to transfer your food into a oven safe dish as you can transfer the pan straight into you oven.
Having no handles also means they can easily fit into your fridge or onto the table for serving as they actually look quite stylish. They also fit nicely in your dishwasher for cleaning. The pots even tells you when it’s at the ideal temperature. It has a red sun like decal in the middle of the pan which changes, so you know when its the perfect time to start cooking.
The cookware cooks perfectly and a the non stick coating is a breeze to clean. Overall I'm super happy with my Tefal Ingenio Titanium Fustion 12pc Set. I would not only recommend this to people who need a spacing option, but to anyone looking for quality cookware.

Thank you for your review. The handle is not designed to be used while cooking on stove top. Just for removing from stove. People are not realising this and leaving lots of bad reviews about melted, damged and no longer working handles. This is especially with GAS as someone has already said below. Might be better with electric or induction but I would remove anyway. A little annoying as we are all used to stirring while stabilising with handle , well I am anyway.

Our set of Ingenio was purchased when originally introduced in the late 90's, and we've never had a handle get damaged, or melted, and we use ours on a gas range. I liked the set so much that I purchased a backup set in 2001 that we have not used any of the pots and pans yet. We have added one more handle from the newer set to have the option of having 3 handles available, and replaced a couple of the plastic "rubbermaid style" storage lids, as they did wear out with steady use.
Our handles all look brand new, and function perfectly after over 20 years of use. On the gas range, I'm always careful not to turn up a burner to the point where flames are engulfing the bottom sides of any pot or pan, because it's simply hazardous, and a waste of gas.
I normally don't leave the handles on the pots when in use, but when I'm cooking anything that will require stirring, mixing, etc... I do leave them on most of the time. Never damaged any of them.

If using gas, u need to remove handle when cooking, as the handle will suffer from heat warping or melting part of the handle. Only use the handle when transferring from heat to plate. So be warned!

We've been using our set since the late 90's, on a gas range, and never damaged, or melted a handle yet. But the handles are very simple and easy to put on, or take off, and with a bit of familiarity, it only takes about one second.

How do you clean the handle? Over time it will get greasy and food pieces come into the handle. You cannot clean inside the handle by damp cloth

    Thanks for this review !
I’m trying to buy a full set , i got induction . Actually i’m a little bit afraid that the handle will be a problem , because on induction everything keep turning / moving or sliding so we need to handle it .
There’s a LOT of negative comment on tefal saying that the handle is removing the material making the tefal anti adhesive , also i’m searching something that will stay long long time without making the ingredients stick on it so yeah . Let me get your review after 2 months please !

Did you get the answer to your question? I have the exact same question. I understand while using gas, the handle might get heated/melted.etc. But does that occur with induction/ceramic hobs too? I cannot imagine a cooking experience where I leave the handle off at all times unless you leave it to simmer. You need to hold the pan for stirring, moving it around, etc.

We have primarily used ours on a gas range since the late 90's, when this Ingenio first was available. At our cottage we have a second, newer set that we use with an induction range. No issue with either cooktop.
You only attach the handle when you need to stir, or handle the pot or pan, and it is probably less than a one second operation to either remove the handle, or attach the handle to any of the cookware.
Pots and pans on a cooktop have less tendency to "move around" when not expected when there are no handles on the pots and pans that can be accidentally hit with another handle, catch on a pot lifter or mitt.
We still have and use our original handles from the original late 90's Ingenio set, and they are not melted, or damaged, and work just as easily as they always have.
We even have a couple of pots from a Meyer set, and an All Clad set that have broken handles that we use the Ingenio handles to continue to use. We could get a new pot from All Clad, but we don't need to, and it's nice not to have a permanently attached handle.

how on earth do you stir properly or flip it with no handle? i think it's a good idea if you are making a 1 pot dish handle on and remove handle for the oven, but other than that? I'd prefer a handle?!

Obviously you normally leave the handle on when cooking... don't know if she removed them while cooking for the video or will reattached them later on

      @@kalli71 no, you get 2.
And people with more than 2 hands are still rare...

@@kalli71 There's 2 handles in a set. I've had a set of the original Ingenio since the 90's, and the non stick is still performing well. I do use wooden, and resin spatulas and spoons however.
The handles don't scratch the non stick coating very noticeably, and the scratches that are created are in the uppermost half inch of the pot or pan that rarely has any food to clean from them.
I liked the Ingenio set so much, that I purchased a second set as a backup, on a great offer (2001), and I have yet to use any of the pots, or pans yet, but I did take one extra handle from the newer set (so we would have 3).
Being rid of the handles on the stovetop makes for zero opportunity to accidentally catch a shirt sleeve, or hitting another pot handle when handling a pot.
When I need to stir, whip, etc... just put the handle on, and take it off when finished working with the food in the pan. It's no effort, and only a second of time to put the handle on, or to take it off.

consider buying protector mats meant for stacking pans. They're really easy to manage and will extend the life of the product. I've seen them in felt and silicone.

@@leannecotte well that sucks :( When stir-frying, you need the handle to hold the pan in place.

If I don't have a stovetop full of pots and pans, I sometimes leave the handles on. We've been using our set since the late 90's, using a gas range, and never damaged/melted a handle. Mind you, I don't waste excessive flame when cooking in a small diameter pot, or pan. That is silly, and dangerous practice.
Mostly I leave the handles off, unless I need to work the food enough to require holding the pan, and it only takes about one second to either put the handle on, or to take it off, so it's not any impediment.

Looks very handy, but the diameters are too big. Ø24 cm is the optimal.
