Had the pleasure of talking to you a few times this summer, Sam. Although I didn't end up marching at Bluecoats, you were a huge inspiration for me and a big reason why I marched drum corps. Thank you for being such a great guy -Ryan (marched baritone at Cavaliers 2017)
You guys had an amazing season! You are one of the biggest influences I had to start practicing my conducting. You guys will always be my favorite! Have gone to go see The bluecoats when you come to San Antonio for the past few years and you guys never cease to amaze me! Keep up the good work! I hope one day I can be apart of the corp! #BLOOOOOOO
I'm planning on auditioning for Bluecoats for the 2019 season and I have a few questions in mind. 1)Any tips and tricks on the audition process? 2)What are the Bluecoats looking for when someone is auditioning? 3)How's the chemistry between the members? 4)How was your experience in Bluecoats?
I was a very strong marcher in high school however i marched woodwind and i am learning brass to audition for the 2019 season as well do you think i have a chance? I graduated 2017 but have maintained my physical exercise
Think of it this : you need to be snappy and DO NOT subdivide. You have to be prepared at all times. You have to always hit your "plane" and if you go either above or below point will be deducted. Trust me this isn't even all of the steps.
Some would say this is a "Sam Cam".
9:50 is the only reason this was uploaded.
I love how he has his own little lines

Malburg36 didn’t make bluecoats but march cavs, what???

Are you implying that Bluecoats has more skilled people than Cavies?
That hat throw was amazing.

Bro the way he conducts 😭😭 it’s so good it’s like there’s a desk in front of him and he’s hitting it so his hands don’t pass from where they should
If there was any show I wish I could've marched, Jagged line is that show
The cam we've all been waiting for.
Still number 1 in my heart.
Favorite conductor ever! Love your cues and everything you do, and I aspire to conduct clean and fluidly as you do
Probably the dopest Bluecoats video I've seen in a while.....
dude his conducting is so beautiful and its own!!!
In my opinion this show deserved a bronze medal AT LEAST .... this was a great show
So many time sig changes! Awesome. You should be proud of the monster program you performed!
This is so cool, Samuel! I can't wait for the day I can audition for the Bluecoats :)
"no tripping whaaat?"

I got hit with an ad right at 11:55...
If I could have marched a show from any years it would be either Jagged Line or Inferno from Carolina Crown.

Revizionz most corps just look for someone who's pretty good to start with and they can tell is willing to put in all their effort and learn

I was scrolling through the comments and I was just wondering if you made it in even though the 2019 season ended
you guys deserved much more than 5th
I'm glad someone else felt the way I did about their Finals run!
Tbf the musical book, (at least brass) seemed fairly difficult and hard to clean
Dude, I met you at the performance in Denton TX, I said hi afterwards, it really made me consider doing drum corps
Slide Whistle Central just do it. You will never regret it
Omg 3 people tripped around 11:45
thatoneguy285 and at least two people ran to their spot 😂
You should definitely give Kolyn a headcam for a show
Hopefully next year I can march with you as DM
You don't march if your a dm
i said with him as my DM
11:56 is honestly my most favorite part!!!😂🤪😭
COOL I LOVE BLUECOATS!!! IM FROM INDONESIA
@Samuel Crawford
You should do a chest cam next year
Contra feature at 4:23 btw
Now we have the Drum Major hand cam, now we need both at the same time. haha 2018?
*h a n d s*
Häñdš
So that's what Sam does behind the camera
The trombones tho 😂it's always the trombones that act like that
Cant forget about the tubas
This is terrifying. I feel like I would fall
11:47 has anybody not pointed out that they slipped here hence why the former was messe d
AWESOME!
My god I love it
Did anyone else see the 3 people fall in the closer one after another hahaha
I was wondering how he got that hat 😂
Who's playing it's late by queen on the guitar at the beginning
thumbs up
9:50, 10:25 ngl those hat throws were pretty good
Do you ever make mistakes? I'm curious, because I can't really tell.
Wow never noticed that hat toss all season lol
eddie They came up with it on semis night!
SAMUEL
11:45 Two people fall and it’s hilarious 😂
3 people fell and it caused chaos
Hey Samuel, did you age out this year?
Tobi NotTobi I think he ages out next year
What's the song at 0:56?
Jared Vandeventer Prelude - Thank You Scientists
I wouldn’t stand being that high
5:21 Well that was underwhelming
They take it up usually but probably didn't want to kill their chops before performing
Joshua B. I'm aware, I'm just used to hearing it up like normal
BD leads would have played it LOL
Banks Nussman no they would not have, this was done to save face for finals....
LOL you don't know what you are talking about, on finals day, BD's leads were all out even in the morning rehercel
Bluecoats 2024 Olivia Rodrigo Vampire Premiere
11:42 4 people trip
Camera angle fail. "We wont do this again. People actually want to see
Roll Tide! From an Alabama Million Dollar Band Mellophone
They shoulda been in 2nd being very close to beating the blue devils
9:52
I find too much comedic value in Sam saying “no trippin what” followed by two people falling and him laughing in response
5:27 mmm mmm m m m
Are you aging out this year?
That's amazing! I'm glad you're able to march another season. Does that mean you were 19 during the '16 season?
the hands are an instrument apparently.... since the hands look easy i'm auditioning
Bro Man you have no idea how hard it is to become drum major

Jeanne Kay Smartt lol what do you mean you should totally subdivide, it’ll help keep you on tempo, especially on slower tempos
