Nice review! I got a good deal on two of these. One I use for slingshot hunting/shooting. I keep the shot (ammo) in the big pouch, the slingshot in one of the outside slots and a silky pocketboy in the other. Awesome little pouches. I like the idea of using it for photography.
I think you'll like it. Depends on your intended purpose, but it really is a great little pack. It took me a long time to finally buy one...I had been looking at them for months before I finally did. But now that I have it, I won't go without it. Good luck!
Thanks for the fine review; concise and to the point. I have a much better idea now of what this is like, and can see it as a good day trip bag for my motorcycle trips. My bike has no hard or lockable bags, so I prefer to carry the essentials (house keys, spare glasses, phone, small first aid kit, flashlight, folding knife) with me when I'm away from the bike.
Nice review, very thorough. You showed each pocket, described them, and gave your impressions on the bag. I want to get one of these to wear mostly around the waist and fastened to my leg so as to allow me to get in and out of vehicles and not create too much unwanted attention as I go about my business in and out of different stores and such. I wish that the company had the awareness to create a second version that isn't made with dual magazine pockets which only serve to alert the more attentive people, you know, like police officers, to the possibility that you are carrying a pistol. I'd rather the bag had flap covered or zippered pouches suited to hold flashlights, gloves, small tools or glasses. Why create a concealed carry bag and then force you to display your pistol mags and advertise you carry. DUH?!?!
you would be struggling to use this effectively for a gun...its just a tad small...you would have to use the main pocket for sure. yeah, you have a good point about the side pockets...they don't offer any wet weather protection either...
It is definitely very durable. I have dragged this thing across jagged rough rock faces, got it snagged on just about everything, tossed it around, and it still looks like the day I got it. The only thing that shows any wear is the scuffs on the buckles, but ya...it's tough for sure!
Man this pack looks durable. But I don't like that it doesn't give me a definitive spot to draw my pistol from in a hurry. Otherwise I'd buy it. But also I like heavy duty zippers not buckles or tight ass compartments. Let me organize the way I want to in wide open spaces
It's tight, but it served me very well for a long time. I sometimes break it out, but I prefer dump pouches connected to my backpack webbing at this point. What is your intended need?
It must have been in a plastic bag that whole year .. nothing stays that clean and in shape a whole month let alone a year ...Nice bag, nice sales pitch ..but as I do t believe you had this in use for a year I won't buy it..
Hahaha...wow, how did you know? That's all I do is keep my stuff in plastic bags and pretend like I use them. The gig is up RUclips... This guy cracked the code! I guess my next video will need to be an apology. If you owned a piece of gear in ballistic nylon you'd know how well it holds up and how clean it stays.

Ron C

Wow. I thought it was a review
On a NEW piece of gear.
VERY tough pack.!

can you wear this around your waste, and leg, and still ride a bike?

I think it would be tough for a pistol...kinda tight. But it is a nice durable pack!
Sold.
Seems like every pocket is " tight" or " tricky " . You've convinced me to look elsewhere. Thanks

Great solid video, but why does my guy sound like the Mom from SpongeBob about some fuckin "ChOcOLaTteeE!" Drink some water bro. Hydrate. Hooah.
