Great video. I really enjoyed your in depth demonstrations. I too, am a big fan of Maxpedition products, I seldom leave home without my non-thigh mount versapack.
Mine is holding up well.. I wish I could have one that would clip to my belt like the alien holster does.. rather than it going all the way around with its own strap.. use the belt instead.. would be a lot more comfortable but still drop leg.
i'm wanting to develop a new bag that is similar to this one but with some changes.. i'm still wearing this one daily but its starting to wear out and i think they dont make it anymore
@@aMAYSingLife, the added weight on one thigh takes some getting used to. So I got another one to even-out both thighs. 😂 Loving the utility, even if wearing 2 of them makes me look weird. 😁
@@paoloviloria1 lol, I can see that.. a lot of the time I don't use the leg strap (only when hiking or motorcycle). If I'm only doing normal activities I don't wear that so I can slide it fully to my side rather than more in front, keeps me from noticing the weight. but if two works, go for it!
For added waterproofing you could have two choices: 1. Use a plastic / freezer bage inside as a liner. Cheap, inexpensive, reusable & disposable. I used large garbage bags in our old canvas A4 Bag when traveling in the military to keep clothes & gear dry. 2. Turn the bag inside out and spray the inside with Flex Seal or other like item. It seals the entire bag & seams.
That is a diamondback 9mm.. super small.. I don’t particularly like the gun but it’s size and 9mm chamber makes it a great carry when needing to be super discrete. I typically carry my xds 45
It’s smaller than an LCP 9mm as well a thinner than a body guard.. they both have better triggers than this one but again it’s not designed to be a “have a small war” it’s a last resort get away solution. And for that it works well.
@@aMAYSingLife go to ebay and put in H1 waist pack and it will bring them up but they do not fit like the thermite it fits to your belt it doesnt have the leg strap or the strap that goes around your waist
if you have to ask, you probably don't need one. I've killed 4 copperheads on my property this year and we have a bear in the area as well as coyotes. (I would do my best to avoid shooting a bear, coyote on the other hand).. you never need a gun until you wish you had one. At the point when you need one and wish you had one, it is likely too late. this goes for slithering foe or two legged idiots.
perhaps you have never needed one and that's awesome. my parents were held up by a guy in memphis years ago with a 38 special that he fired into the bed that my mother was on (he pushed his way into their room as soon as Dad opened the door). they got lucky that night as circumstances changed and the guy fled. it could have ended quite differently. not everyone on this planet has your best interest at heart. and with today's circumstances the police may not be able or willing to respond either. choosing to carry or not is completely up to you and I don't disparage anyone for not wanting to. as I said in the video, you don't have to use the mag pouches for magazines.. they work great for light or multitool holders. I have killed 4 copperheads on my property this year and was grateful to have one on my side. so its not just 2 legged that are potential threats. one of those, if I move back, he strikes, if I move left, he strikes... simple problem called for a simple solution.

Getting mine next week. Thank you for the video/review. 😊
Been using mine daily now since I made that video and it is still holding up.. Just FYI.. How you liking yours?

So you think the flex seal would handle being on fabric like that?? I’ve used flex seal in my panniers but never thought about using them on bags...
@@aMAYSingLife I've used it on Alice packs & Butt packs with no problem as long as you cleaning first.
Well said 👏 👌 👍
Thank you!
As a fellow biker this is actually really helpful. Just one question, what handgun did you store in the top compartment at 4:49?

Thank you very much!

Creo que la compraré...

hi are these the same size as the H1
I’m not familiar with the H1? Point me somewhere as I would like to have a backup option to my versapak..

Whats the gun for ?

What's with all those guns? Yikes! Why?

Don't ask if you don't know. Need to know then go get informed by proper people. You know that guns never kills.
