Not only the best toy of giganotosaurus, but one of the best depictions of the dinosaur. I especially love the arms, considering the fact that the arms were never found, but were likely as small as trexs due to the small shoulder bones. Great job safari.
I know that they weren't from the same exact formation, but even so, do you think it would've at least been somewhat possible that Giganotosaurus would've encountered Argentinosaurus, given that they both lived 98 or whatever million years ago in the Late Cretaceous of Argentina, in areas super-close to each other, and given that most sources claim that they coexisted?
Very good review, thank you. This is a very nice nice figure, and I am very glad to have it. I don't know how well they scale up, but as much as I like this Giganotosaurus figure, it looks like a skinny kid compared to my Papo standing T Rex figures.
It's a bit out of scale, the collecta carcharo is 30cm in lenght and the safari giga is 36 cm in lenght. It'll work out if considering the giga a little bigger specimen about 13.7 and the carcharo as a smaller 12.2? specimen.
I'm not sure if I told you this one before, but one time Horizon did a programmer about Giganotosaurus and Argentinosaurus. It documentary was called Extreme Dinosaurs. Have you seen it?
0:30 "13.3 tonnes is estimated in Therrien & Henderson (2007) it is not a good estimate, they got it based on a regression equation for skull length that only had short tailed tyrannosauroids representing big theropods, some of them had even incorrectly cited skull and total lengths, because of that Giganotosaurus ended really heavy, just and only because it had a considerably longer skull."
TheBatmeme368 They're always revising things, it seems. Newest estimates? Sue the T rex, 41 feet long, 9 - 9.5 tons in weight; Holotype Giganotsaurus, 41- 42 feet long, 7.5 - 8 tons in weight. Why? T rex was more heavily built. Like we didn't already know that. And Spinosaurus is now thought have been almost totally aquatic, and very slender; 50 feet long, 6 - 7 tons in weight. Anyway.......
Matthew The Dinosaur King if you want to know why it's because the fossil record is very barren it's like saying alamosaurus never had its range extend into hell creek because we haven't found it there I mean really as for giganotosaurus and argentinosaurus both live in the same 3 million year time span heck all the hunicul and candeleros creatures do so it's likely if you ask me that they all lived in a massive ecosystem that was connected heck if I'm right then this place may have more predators than the Morrison and Kem Kem beds.
Matthew The Dinosaur King can you do in season 3 or 4 Tiger (Carcharodontosaurus) vs this new gigantosaurus and who wins faces the rogue male I'm sick of him killing my favs plz do it I wanna see what happens I'm curious because I can't find gianatosaurus vs carcharodontosaurus so can u plz do it. 😀

Totally Epic, Giganotosaurus in my favorite carcharodontosauride, keep up with the awesome & outstanding reviews buddy.
Awesome thanks :)
What do you think is better that giganotosaurus or Carnegie on

awesome dinosaur
awesome figure
awesome review
Thanks :)
Matthew The Dinosaur King no problem;)
Congratulations on 6K!
Thanks :D
How does this guy fair up to the rouge males rex figure in size?
How big is it next to the CollectA Carcharodontosaurus?
It's a bit out of scale, the collecta carcharo is 30cm in lenght and the safari giga is 36 cm in lenght.

Another one for a repaint
Beautiful model!
Agreed! :)
I will be waiting for Safari to release a smaller one ,that is similar in size to their Carcharodontosaurus for 2016 with SOMEWHAT SIMILAR colors...
I'm not sure if I told you this one before, but one time Horizon did a programmer about Giganotosaurus and Argentinosaurus. It documentary was called Extreme Dinosaurs. Have you seen it?
Dragon Zilla wait I've seen that documentary when I was young
You can find clips of it on RUclips.

I'm getting this soon
You forgot about how it was enemy's with argentinosaurus sure they were found in different formations but the timelines match up.
Giga was little older than argentinosaurus. Argentinosaurus lived in the same formation as mapusaurus which was slightly younger than giga's
Awesome review on a great model!!
Thanks :)
But we have only two giganotosaurus so yeah giganotosaurus was actually probably bigger if you look at a larger picture.
Me gusta
I thought it lived along side Argentinasaurus too.
Neosodon it probably did since 2 million years isn't a lot.
Different formation. Mapusaurus was the dominant predator alongside Argentinosaurus
Matthew The Dinosaur King also no offense Mathew but the formations is some of the biggest crap I've ever heard for a lot of reasons.

I know that the giganotosaurus is the largest carcharodontosaurid theropod dinosaur. I heard of the giganotosaurus before.
Carchadontosaurus is bigger
@@jukaa1012 it isnt but they are likely the same size.. still the giga is bigger
I have one too.
Nice vídeo!
Thanks :)
Also known as the convict gigo!
giganotosaurus is the biggest terrestrial predator after the spinosaurus
also, i HATE the schkeich one !
I hate the sliche or however you say it aswell
cool figure I hope that this guy will be the end for the rouge male
Thanks :) Not sure if he'll appear in Season 3 but maybe
Thanks :) Not sure if he'll appear in Season 3 but maybe
Matthew The Dinosaur King I think Safari should make models of these extinct mammals
Dipirtodon
Daeodon
Thylacoleo
Deinothierium
Megaldaipis

The giganotosaurus: EIther a killing machines Or some deformed cartoon dino
This is such a fantastic sculpt! But the paint job makes it look so CHEAP. It totally wipes out most of the textural detail.
Time for a repaint.
It's not really a problem for me. I like it
Looks like a three year old painted it.
