There is DLC planned! Their whole slate was leaked, most of it got delayed by six months. The March update was supposed to release in October. It's very likely that these DLCs drop late this year or early next year similar to Ragnarok's DLC.

I’m willing to bet any amount that we’ll get DLC in the 4th quarter to help sell ps5 this holiday. It’s the smartest move. they don’t have anything else this year

I honesty sincerely think that at this point if they are not making a dlc they should just tell us that they have plans on making dlc
I think its still gonna happen and we just gotta be patient considering they are working on venom and wolverine.

I thought so too but they didn’t do in state of play or summer games fest. Alan Wake 2 already got it’s dlc and it came out around the same time. So it’s unlikely but I hope I’m wrong.

We need a DLC venom play so we can roam around in Venom skin with spiderman 3 & Venom movie skins with carnage too
I don’t think we will get Venom till late 25 and Wolverine in late 26.
This game 100% needs DLC, it was a good story but I don’t think it was fleshed out enough to consider it perfection. DLC would not only help the replay value but gives us more to enjoy for the next few years until another release in the Spidey universe comes out

2.On playstation showcase (September ??), but who knows ??
It just makes zero sense that in 2024 that they have no dlc planned. That makes games stupid amounts of money. I honestly don’t get that narrative at all. Not bashing the video, I just don’t get it lol
Only 1/3 of the studio was working on Wolverine while the rest was mostly working on Spider-Man 3 and Venom according to the leaks. However, as you said it could change but that will just add more complexity to dev time and I still believe the game is a 2026 release with a reveal trailer next year.
At this point, I’d be okay if they were to say there is no DLC, at least we’d know them, I could sell spider-man 2 and buy another game
I’d say if we don’t see something by the next showcase it’s not happening but I’m not writing off the possibility just yet.
Spiderman 1's DLCs were fine, but not all that great.
I'd rather they put all their effort into the Venom game instead of some episodic bite sized stuff.
I think it will happen mainly cause of the debug menu in march that showed the beetle dlc
Either way Insomniac is the ONLY!.. studio that deserves a break. They literally carried this console for 4yrs, which is absolutely *pathetic* in my opinion. These other studio's better get to work because not releasing a game a whole console generation is just unacceptable. 👀
I think it’s insane that so many of y’all are expecting it to be revealed this early. All you Gotta do is look at the track record from their other PlayStation exclusive games that get DLC. They don’t reveal it at all 😭

I’m pretty sure the DLC files were accidentally added into the game back in March or April. I still think it’s coming, but I think they might of cancelled the 3 DLC, and are just doing one
Hopefully SBI gives them permission to make the DLC. lol. Just give me Spiderman Web Of Shadows. A better game in every way.

Spider man 2 is one of the best selling ps5 games I would be shocked if they don’t make dlc also it took a while for god of war ragnarok to get dlc
From Peter gave up the Spidey mantle at the end of the story I knew DLC wouldn't have been likely unless its Miles focus. As Peter coming back so soon would have undermined the ending unless the DLC takes places a few months-a year later

This is my Opinion : Despite Insomniac suffering a cyber attack, during which terabytes of data were stolen and released gradually, we haven't seen any footage of the MS2 DLC. Leaks have surfaced for other projects, such as Wolverine, the cancelled Spider-Man multiplayer, and even Spider-Man 3 Silk gameplay, yet there's no sign of MS2 DLC. It's possible that the DLC isn't even in development, and Insomniac might be focusing on other projects instead. One could argue that the DLC might be in early development, meaning it's far off and might come later. However, this presents another issue: Insomniac is supposedly working on a "Venom" game and "Wolverine." Won't these projects interfere with DLC production and vice versa? Regardless of how you look at it, the question remains and is somewhat concerning. Despite this, it's still possible that we could get a DLC, as nothing has been confirmed and it's all leaks and speculation at this point.

Listen, I don’t really think they are in the position not to do ANY dlc for Spider Man 2. I feel like spider man 2018 had a bigger overall impact with just the base game than spider man 2 has had, so to not do any dlc would be a bad look. My thing is it’s taking so long and so much competition has been and is going to be released between now January I don’t see my self motivated to re buy the game for the DLC. Same thing happened with KH3 ReMind. I still have yet to play that.

I heard we aren't getting Spider-man 3 til 2028 so we should be getting DLC for Spider-man 2 and a short Cindy moon game likes miles game that's what I think cause it makes since I really really really hope so and we should get Wolverine game before 2028

Yuri was set up in the DLC of SM2018 and her follow up is exclusively in the same side missions as The Flame (Cletus Kasady), I personally think Carnage would be saved for a potential Venom spinoff, but that doesn't mean Carnage being DLC can't work@@chillwill7
I honestly don't think that we will get both a Venom game and a DLC for Marvel's Spider-Man 2. It's either one of those, due to them also working on the Wolverine game.

@@savage0928 personally I felt the story was bloated, rushed, disrespectful and most importantly made Spider-Man and Venom behave incredibly out of character to fit their rather lazy plot.
But that’s just my opinion.
