Not sure if anyone is going to read this but Gretas choice of album names is really great. I almost whish I thought of them first. But I kind of miss the abstract feel of some of the albums and the DIY covers and bizare names. Close it quietly and vessel are greater production value but kind of miss the soul of something like " WHy im i underwater.
And 'fleshing things out' is often less powerful in practice than the potent intimacy of fragments held in all their potential. But I understand the urge to try.
how do you even to begin to describe this album/frankie cosmos to a friend? "it's like the musical embodiment of depression, and it's fucking addictive." this album captures the awkward teenage years so well. it's gorgeous.

I agree. There's a golden period of untouchable half realised potential. It's a bit like Beck's early recordings compared to later. Sort of.
