I love that you're using the modular buildings as the setting for your stories. I was looking around and kind of surprised there's not a lot of brickfilms using the modulars as sets. Looking forward for more videos of yours. While the stories are simple I think it vibes well with the Lego feel. Please do the Detective's Office next!
Thanks so much for your comment. So pleased you like that we use the modular buildings as our settings...they are such lovely buildings it would be a shame not to bring them to life! We can't promise that we'll do the Detective's Office next but we will do a film where it features :-)
Great animation. Your set design is always amazing and the animation is smooth. I also like the little details like with your use of studs for the lady’s hair as she’s putting on the robber hat. Keep up the great work as always!
extremely good animation, smooth, liked the art piece coming out of the suitcase, at first I expected you to have at least a couple thousand subs, but you're extremely underrated. Congrats on a new sub!
Like how you use the modular buildings as sets! They look really detailed with them. And having so much move around at one time and walking on tiles must be a pain! You deserve more recognition.
@@KevinStudios7 Quite often ideas come by looking at the modular buildings and thinking about what stories would happen in them. It can take weeks to work out storylines though.
Again, you have some outstanding ideas like, e.g., the part where the girl takes on her sunglasses. And I really like the new LEGO modular building, as it looks pretty cool and offers so much versatility regarding the interior, which you're using perfect to tell your story. And as always, your animation is very smooth.
Glad you enjoyed the video. The other vehicles included are the LEGO City Blue Sports car, a MOC of the jeep from Jurassic Park and an older LEGO City camper van.
LOL that was awesome!! There were so many great shots (I love the one when she stuck her head out the window 😂) And the lighting was superb! Your animation has improved so much! :)
We used a LEGO lighting kit to light the street lamps etc and for the main 'studio' light we turned the lamps away from the set so that they weren't directly pointing at the set but still gave some ambient light (hopefully that makes sense). We also used a grey backdrop rather than a blue one to further darken the scene.
We're not quite sure how he got the bag up to the top floor - there may be a service lift in the hotel or he's very skilled at walking up stairs with a luggage trolley!

The fact he put the lego Creator Expert Police Station by the set 🙃
love the set! You also used a bunch of really neat, subtle animation stuff, like how you stuffed the cube into the bag. Really sells it.
Thank you so much, we were really pleased with how the part with the cube turned out.
Very cleverly done. I love the bubble bath!
Thank you 😊
Awesome work!!!!
Thanks so much!
Very cool!
Thank you so much ☺️
Looks the elderly lady was caught red handed for attempted theft

A very smooth animation and great use of the Boutique Hotel set. I enjoyed the story. Well done!

Thanks so much for your comment. We really love using the modulars as sets although it is tricky filming on the smooth tiles.
@@HewsonsProductions I would like to ask you, how do you find ideas? I sometimes have a hard time finding ideas when going to different videos.

@@HewsonsProductions thanks for answering! I’m just gonna look at my buildings in the city, and boom. An idea just struck.
@@KevinStudios7 That's great, can't wait to see what you make.

@@HewsonsProductions Yes, I will surely use it also in one of my forthcoming brickfilms.

Thank you so much 🙂
@@HewsonsProductions of course!
@@HewsonsProductions you're welcome!
Great job!
Thanks!
This was great! But how did you manage to get the camera inside the buildings?
Thanks. We removed some of the buildings walls to create a set which enabled us to animate and film in the rooms.
Great video! I recognize the taxi but what other vehicles are included?

Thank you so much. So glad you liked it, it was fun trying to light the scene to show it was nighttime.
@@HewsonsProductions How did you light that? I've seen people use blue light but yours looks like its natural night.

Skąd masz takie fajne światełka w tym budynku?
They are from a website called Game of Bricks
Ok, thanks;)
It is clear to see how much time you have put into the video. But i would like to know how many fps frames per second you use? Thanks!
Thank you. We use either 12 or 15 fps in our films. I think that this film was filmed at 12fps.
@@HewsonsProductions Thanks so much for responding! I am planning to create my own stop motion and this has helped me a lot. Thank you
Awesome, it's great fun making stop motions.
The police station (10278) is nearby!
How can she still attempt to do this??
I guess she just loved the artwork so much she was willing to commit the crime!
That was so well done. Nice job. You got a thumbs up from me😉
Thank you so much 😀
@@HewsonsProductions Mo worries mate you definitely earned it.
👍👍
How did you record inside the hotel?
We took out a wall to enable the camera to see inside.
nice stop motion! i sub!
Awesome! Thank you!
