@@EMichaelBall I saw the interview. Baier is supposed to be a real journalist, but he behaved like a colossal a$$hat. He mostly asked "gotcha" questions, constantly interrupted her when she tried to answer, and talked over her when she did. It was pretty clear that his intention was to try and intimidate and humiliate her. He didn't succeed, even when he tried to gaslight her with his irrelevant video clip that was supposed to "prove" that Trump never called Americans "the enemy of the people" (Trump has said that multiple times and recently on Fox- which Baier must have known- he actually apologized for that one the next day, probably because it was so obviously untrue). He tried to claim she had she had a "meltdown"- her anger at having that staggering lie shoved in her face was hardly a meltdown I think it's to her credit that she wasn't bowed by his bullying tactics- make no mistake, that's exactly what they were. @cecilystephens8552 If Bret let her answer uninterrupted, she’d filibuster her time away with very few questions asked. Putin did this to Tucker Carlson. The US has moved on from the manufacturing hub to be more or less competitive in international markets. Labor is cheap in most other places. The US is mostly an innovation, financial sector, and service economy whether you like it or not. The small traders who get stuff from manufacturing hubs online will hit so bad that they may have to sell their underwear. Bigger sellers like Bezo's with warehouse can benefit for a year or two after his policies are enacted. Farmers are going to be bankrupt, as every country will use punitive tariffs like what happened in 2019-2020. Overall, we will have a stagflation that somehow the Feds and Biden admin resolved. Trump is a nut case. But I have 5-year contracts, and I can hopefully sail through this madness if he becomes president.
@@sudarshanasharma8048Yeah you just want to be able to outsource work to places that are cheaper. Places that are essentially slave labor. It's too bad that what you want to do won't work out under trump. You say farmers will go bankrupt but I don't think you're talking about local farmers. What you're saying is partially true because Farmers overseas will go bankrupt that usually sell to us. You would think that the ingredients from overseas is just cheaper but again that's only because of their slave labor. They work for pennies on the dollar in countries that aren't really doing very well themselves. We've got a ton of farmland, a ton of farmers that are ready to work that are going to have a better time working because fuel is going to be cheaper which means it's inherently cheaper to move their goods from one place to another. Our market will then be mostly closed off and feeding itself but also be fed by tariffs put in place to make us more money. The other thing is that the economy should grow if foreign companies build their factories here to take advantage of the market. Now you're not making it entirely obvious but I can see right through it that you want to take advantage of the cheaper labor whether it's morally sound or not. I guess you're that kind of guy. But I know you know better and you know how to make money and I'm just a fly on the wall who doesn't have the money needed to make more money. Anyway, sorry buddy all bets are off for the slave labor that you'd like to take advantage of.

HERE IS A CRITICAL TALKING POINT ABOUT TARRIFS .. The US is the largest consumer market in the world, by far... we have the leverage to apply tariffs in a way that many countries can't get away with because they want access to our market and our consumer who spends more than any other in the world (including China)... So yes, Trump Tariffs will work if applied smartly and they will be... they won't just be blanket tariffs.
@@swanky_yuropean7514 it's not a simple answer... there is a short term effect and a long term effect (what matters)... There is also the matter of how elastic is the demand for the item... Some of the cost will initially be born by the consumer, but a large part could and. usually born born by the manufacturer if they don't have pricing power .. long term (what matters) is the product will be manufactured by Americans, leading to better pay, more jobs and the ability to consume more... What did Trump say here that made any sense? He has zero idea how tariffs work. He clearly thinks that the other country pays the tariff and doesn't realize it's the American company importing it who pays the tariff. The last time he tried tariffs it failed so badly he had to use almost all the money to bail out the farmers that were hurt by those tariffs. He has no idea how anything works.
Doesn't matter if and how. They'd make it look like she answered rightly even if she ooga-booga'd and drooled all over the interview. And then she'd say I was raised in the middle class and I have a plan for small businesses and they'd climax like it's December 1st.
Just would like to point out that this guy was 1000x times more of a douche to Trump than Fox's Brett Bair just was with Kamala. Trump kept his cool and Kamala melted tf down. That is leadership.
Your bar for Leadership is very low. You watched a man talk about taxes on imported goods like if it wouldn’t affect the people buying the goods in the US.
If he's suggesting that a 10% tariff will bring in n *$100,000,000 into the treasury, he's essentially saying that Americans will continue to buy foreign imports, at a higher price. How is that not inflation?
did he say a 10% tariff would be bringing in 100million PER billion dollars of product that we put tariffs on? If so, that's inflation, you're right, because with that math, Americans will continue to buy the same amount of foreign imports. But, I think one big reason for the tariffs is to decrease the sales of foreign products so that American production can compete, which brings jobs, which in turn - brings in revenue to the treasury.
Actually, the imposition of tariffs could encourage foreign manufacturers to relocate their operations to the U.S. to avoid the higher costs. This relocation would help avoid price increases since production can shift to more cost-effective areas within the U.S., such as economically challenged regions (‘ghettos’). These areas often offer cheaper labor and incentives, creating an opportunity for revitalization. Moreover, if foreign companies don’t adapt, local producers will step in to fill the market demand, benefiting from reduced competition and keeping prices stable while boosting domestic production and employment.
It's bad because moving factories to the US costs an insane amount more money than doing it overseas, which means these big companies will raise prices to make up for the big new expense. That's for big companies who can even afford to just build factories in the US, the small companies will raise their prices to account for the large tariff expense, and then if enough people aren't willing to pay the high price, they will have to close down the business. This tariff plan = inflation, zero question about it. Trump wants a 60% tariff on China, 75% of Amazon products come from China. 75% of Amazon products would have a 60% fee added onto the price. It's insane, will destroy businesses, and raise the prices of so many things that people buy every day. It'd be good for the very small amount of people who would get a job at one of these places, it'd be bad for everyone else.
@@ITheorey you’d have to ask if the tax rate cuts and the increased domestic production would even out the inflation costs. Also there’s an issue with our economy being heavily reliant on China especially since China is in many ways adversarial to the US. Lower taxes would also mean more investment potential and lower prices. Higher taxes only increase prices and reduce jobs. So it all would depend on how much trump manages to reduce tax burdens and the ability to create jobs. Also the idea of China having cheaper labor just means it’s infinitely easier to replace domestic workers with cheaper overseas workers, this significantly reduces job growth within America therefore tariffs will increase DOMESTIC investment which overall grows the American economy.
America doesn't exist to provide people cheap cars that is only possible through destroying the middle class. Why are the democrats fighting for big business now? Lol, do you all forget? And now you're the war party too. Haha
@climatehero Not necessarily if they're built here. They won't have any of the import fees and other fees, and then the company's can compete here in the US common sense.

Ultimately, if these channels want to be taken seriously, they need to consider the impact of their tone and approach on their overall credibility and viewership. It's interesting that you mention respect. The way some media outlets choose to interview Trump-often with condescension-raises questions about their own integrity and professionalism. If they truly want to foster meaningful discussions and connect with their audience, they should show respect, not just for their guests, but for their viewers as well. Trump talks like he knows more than all the experts (despite all of his bankruptcies and tax fraud) but here are the facts: The policies have the opposite effects to the stated goal of the policies • All policies cause a decline in production and employment in the United States, especially in trade-exposed sectors such as manufacturing and agriculture. • The policies also worsen inflation in the US economy. • The erosion of Fed independence causes a significant outflow of capital from the US to the rest of the world, a significant depreciation of the US dollar, and, therefore, a significant improvement in the US trade surplus. This occurs while reducing the living standards of Americans through higher unemployment towards the end of 2028 and higher inflation from 2026. • Trump says “make the foreigners pay.” Under these policies, it is US consumers, workers, and firms that pay.

@cecilystephens8552 He would love Harris more. She looked utterly hapless on Fox News. Couldn’t give direct answers to questions.
She was actually pretty restrained- if he had gotten in MY face with that BS, I just might have rearranged his. "Real journalist," my foot.
@cecilystephens8552 If Bret let her answer uninterrupted, she’d filibuster her time away with very few questions asked. Putin did this to Tucker Carlson. Furthermore, you can tell within a few seconds if they’re answering the question. For example, when she was asked if she wanted to have the government pay for xgender surgeries in prisons, she started, “Well, I would follow the law” - that’s not what he was asking. And that was just one example. If you know they’re not up front quickly, they are probably trying to deflect. You cannot let them manipulate you.

@@Sams911
Who do you think is the one that pays the tarrifs?
@@swanky_yuropean7514 it's not a simple answer... there is a short term effect and a long term effect (what matters)... There is also the matter of how elastic is the demand for the item... Some of the cost will initially be born by the consumer, but a large part could and. usually born born by the manufacturer if they don't have pricing power .. long term (what matters) is the product will be manufactured by Americans, leading to better pay, more jobs and the ability to consume more... There are smart and strategic ways to apply tariffs .. Trump (and more importantly his economic team) aren't idiots .. what have have done historically has worked well.

If he's suggesting that a 10% tariff will bring in n *$100,000,000 into the treasury, he's essentially saying that Americans will continue to buy foreign imports, at a higher price. How is that not inflation?
NOW … you are actually thinking.
did he say a 10% tariff would be bringing in 100million PER billion dollars of product that we put tariffs on?
He doesn't want tariffs, he is using tariffs as leverage to get better trade deals and to preserve and get more manufacturing jobs in America

If imposed tariffs force companies to manufacture in the US creating jobs on our soil how is that bad? Pls explain Kamala fans.
Biden's DOJ just sued Elon Musk / Space X for NOT hiring illegal immigrants! I wish I was making this up.

You have no clue about billionaires and business do you? Many if not, most of the most successful business people in the world have multiple bankruptcies under their belt. It happens when you start dozens of businesses and sometimes hundreds.
@@lisabelle7553

Trump has been sued over 4,000 times since 1970. Mostly for not paying contractors.

It's interesting how some news channels that openly express their disdain for Trump continue to invite him on their shows. Their rude and condescending questions not only reveal their bias but also alienate a significant portion of their audience-Trump supporters. It's like they're completely oblivious to the fact that their approach is turning viewers away rather than engaging them. It makes you wonder how they expect to maintain viewership when they treat half the country with such contempt. Who do they think is watching this?
Trump is running for the most powerful office in the world. The American people have every right to see their candidates pushed on difficult questions. Or should we have a dictator who can’t take a hard question? JFC, have some respect for yourself.
@@alysonsilverman4753 Listen to yourself - first off. JFC? stands for??? mocking religion? While it's true that media outlets have a responsibility to hold politicians accountable, there's a fine line between questioning and outright hostility. If the goal is to engage in constructive dialogue, then a more respectful approach would likely resonate better with all viewers. Dismissing or ridiculing a significant portion of the audience only serves to deepen divisions. Engaging in thoughtful dialogue rather than resorting to disrespect only undermines their credibility and drives away a significant portion of their audience. RESPECTFUL discourse is crucial for a healthy media landscape. something you apparently don’t know anything about while mentioning it simultaneously
@@alysonsilverman4753 and that little “respect for yourself” dig as a final jab really only reflects insecurity about your argument. When someone feels unsure in a debate, they might resort to insults or snarky comments to assert dominance or to bolster their position.
@@alysonsilverman4753 how fitting that I would be simply asking for something as simple and reasonable as an open dialogue- and you come here with your emotions.. trying to shut down every comment that you see that doesn’t align with your views- and doing it in such a condescending way. Your bigotry is showing - and it’s disgusting
I don't understand. Do you think dialogue between leaders is all rainbow and butterflies. If he can't hold his own against world leaders or Kamala should he be out leader? In the debate, she said he was easily manipulated and flattered. Then she showed us countless examples that he can be manipulated to any extent. This is a leader of our country. Go hard or go home. Rights and economy are on the line. I don't care to have a weak bone spur in office who has to weave to get to a point . I would rather a lawyer who understands the power of words and how to use them wisely.

I disagree with many comments. I think the interviewer was tough but fair. And I do agree Trump did well, this was an excellent interview of a president.
Kamala couldn't even show up for it, because she literally has no answers. The economy is too complex of a problem for her and her handlers in the democratic machine would keep running it into the ground as they have been.
@@wrapperman Notice how the interviewer exited to the left, thereby becoming "good" in the unconscious mind of the viewers. This was not allowed for Kamala or Tim. Someone powerful wants them to lose. Probably because Vance and Mu5k are tied to the surveillance state software company. Very interesting.
Trump talks like he knows more than all the experts (despite all of his bankruptcies and tax fraud) but here are the facts: The policies have the opposite effects to the stated goal of the policies
• All policies cause a decline in production and employment in the United States, especially in trade-exposed sectors such as manufacturing and agriculture.
He did great. Wow 👌
Can anyone list the successful Trump businesses? I want to be fair and informed. From my research (online searches), I’ve only found failed businesses. Perhaps I’m not looking in the right place. I am allowing for my ignorance. Any links or sources would be greatly appreciated. BTW, I am NOT a democrat. I am independent and would lean “moderate,” meaning I’m a middle of the road individual. I am, conservative in some ways and liberal in others. I actually hate labels as I find them confining and limiting. I do not consider myself one dimensional. I believe in nuances. I am human. I believe in principles or character and ethics. I do not wish to be charged as bias. Based upon my research into Donald J. Trump as a businessman, ytd, I have only found all of his businesses tanked- they went out of business and were found to be some form of scam or they went bankrupt due to poor business practices. This is UNRELATED to him being a president. This is him, as a businessman. For that reason, which I found logical (without prejudice), it confuses me that others find him savvy in business. Again, I have not found evidence of business savvy. I would not listen to or take the advice of someone who is consistently a failure in business. I feel like others must know something I do not. Maybe my algorithm is blocking me. I dunno. I’m willing to listen to learn.
Once more, the question is: Can any of you share what successful businesses DJT has had?
I’m not asking for what you think of him as a person.
His anecdotes and humor aside, we’re weeks from the election. I need to know how he runs things.
I am not asking about Kamala or Biden.
It is a clear and uncomplicated question.
I don’t care if Trump is going to heaven or hell. Not my business.
I’m not inquiring or seeking a comparison to Biden, Harris, or Obama.
I’d like links and/or sources of successful businesses of Donald J. Trump.
I’d like to do more research and homework about him as I have been unable to learn or understand him positively as a businessman.
