- The Forkers head to the Michelin recommended, Singapore hot listed: Coconut Club, for a Malaysian classic, Nasi Lemak. Find out if they like the food after being told no one should pay more than $5 for a basic street food classic.
Nasi lemak is an originally Malay dish consisting of fragrant rice cooked in coconut milk and pandan leaf now common across the region. Traditionally, nasi lemak is wrapped and served in banana leaves, being served with a hot spicy sauce (sambal), and usually includes various garnishes, including fresh cucumber slices, small fried anchovies (ikan bilis), roasted peanuts, and hard-boiled or fried eggs. As a more substantial meal, nasi lemak may also be served with an additional protein dish such as ayam goreng (fried chicken), sambal sotong (cuttlefish in chili), small fried fish, cockles, and rendang dating.

Loved the Jordindian music! Thanks for keeping the amazing content flowing guys. Cheers!
@jordindians rock
It hurts watching such good content, with the amount of views not justifying it and someone saying “epal watch ultra aya ₹500 me” is raking in millions of views.
I feel you! Sometimes it seems like the most random things go viral. Maybe we should start making videos about "epal watch ultra" too! 😄
Exactly my sentiments! Have been telling it for ages! Such a class production quality and content with such less number of subscribers and views. If only there's a way to market this channel.
Absolutely agree! Doing my best though by recommending this to everyone in my circle. You guys are doing amazing work! Keep it up 🤞🏻👍🏻
Our mission has always been to shoot TV quality, this will all end up on a platform anyways. Hopefully
Your love of not only food but the varying cultures and people behind the dishes keep me encouraged that as long as ambassadors like you who exhibit true, genuine understanding and acceptance of our differences as something to admire and enjoy, and not fear or hate, this world still has a chance. Keep doing what you both do and pay no attention to the haters!!!! GodSpeed
Thanks for the love mate. ❤️
We will stay the course......
Watching you guy's since a long time. Been on a break in between. Love all the videos specially the pub crawl in goa.
Thank you for staying with us.
That was a fun episode! I'd probably pay 20$ for that Nasi Lemak in Singapore but probably not in Malaysia or Indonesia.
It was worth it, well worth it.
Love your show and the vibe guys! Keeping em coming! 🙌🏼 Also suggesting to maybe consider doing a Kerela series soon😌
We really want to do that. It's a priority
Love that you’re using jordindian’s songs as your bgm!
Their music so apt for us faffing around Arab Street, credit goes to the editor for picking it.
Thank you guys... ❤
Happy new year!!! Great one again
Happy new year!
This is totally a top noch content.
PS: Pretty sure you lads will be ruling the Food vlogging industry in the coming years.
Thank you, Rahul, so many good creators in the space. Our mission is to become a platform for other creators as well.
The best ever food show🛐
Thanks for tuning in! we are stoked that you liked it
Following you from Mumbai series. I loved Goa series and visited all places which you went to. I find the spark missing in series after that. Bangalore was so so. SG is even larger gap. Need to bring the Goa magic back. Not sure what. Honest feedback. Hope you don’t mind.
Thank you so much for this feedback. Taken in stride and we hope to win you back.
We honestly have the same drive and we are the same, maybe the location and what we are doing is changing, or maybe we are feeling the pressure of becoming mainstream, which is against the grain of what we stand for. It's not the first feedback like this, so this is on us. Thank You.
Thanks for acknowledging guys. This humbleness shall take you far. Two changes I see. 1. Goa series was extremely unapologetic / no holds bar from your side. It seems natural reactions. 2. You showcased and restaurants and specially the head chefs more there I think. So we connected better.
My suggestions.
1. Keep it to India for now. Explore more locations like Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Delhi, Kashmir etc.
2. Keep it real. Says things like ‘mutthe wala pyaaz’, ‘you te don’t go train te don’t go!’. Enough mainstream shit already.
3. Collaborate with other youtubers.
Would have been nicer if you actually had a $2 version too, just to compare it with !! Keep em' coming boies🤘
Yeah, we figured that during the editing which is 2 months after filming
Oh I miss Nasi Lemak so much. It used to be my go to dish back in the days when I was in Singapore. I look forward to getting some good Nasi Lemak here in London now.
It's so good!
Do try mei mei resturant at Borough market for Singapore Delights in London
@@sumit6190p will surely go there 🙂
