- When Cloud gets his fortune read by Cait Sith it invokes a feeling on confusion within Cloud as he tries to figure out what he cherishes most in the world currently.

Great video! I mean with a line like this I don't know how it can be denied that Aerith is #1 in Cloud's heart.
The only one who makes his jaw drop wide open
All three of those fortunes related to Sephiroth.
1) Things are looking up so throw caution to the wind. Cloud looking up is what allowed him to stop Sephiroth as he was coming down. He stopped trying to stop himself from being controlled by the whispers which allowed him to block Sephy's attack. He put his trust in Barret and the other to take on Jenova, which allowed Zack and Aerith to come to him in his final fight from beyond the void.
2) Keep an eye on your belongings. Lucky color: Black. The white materia that Aerith gave him turns black at the end of the game. It appears to allow him to find/follow Sephy.
3) He found Sephy, and in doing so, he lost Aerith.
I don't believe the materia turned black. We could literally hear a clink noise, indicating that Cloud had another materia in his pocket when he was putting the empty one away.
Your right about everything except the white materia, Cloud has both the hollow white and the black in his pocket.

After he lost Aerith lol. Took Cloud a while to come to that conclusion in another part of the compilation after dealing with his depression from the loss of her and his best friend. Doesn't relate to the current fortune.

Cloud created another world with aerith alive basically. He is inbetween worlds that's why he sees the rift in the sky
He can see both worlds at the same time, they overlap each other. Maybe that was Sephiroths "blessing?" Ether way, that's why he see both Aerith and the crack in the sky and no one else does.

Cloud cherish everyone, but his reason for everything and the most important person he truly love is Tifa ❤
But his "most cherished " is Aerith. He does care about everyone, but her the most.

It was literally in Ultimania in northern crater in part 3 HE WILL FIND THE REAL SEPHIROTH and he will pull the ultimate gaslighting and will tell Cloud that he's a puppet and he's not in Nibelheim back then. This will be back up with Tifa's doubt as she didnt know Cloud's actually there back then ( only a mercernary )
Tifa's the main reason cloud's able to woke up when she found him on that train, as she is REAL CLOUD's hold to his real self. So her loosing faith in him that he's the Cloud she knew back then makes him loses his MOST CHERISHED PERSON ( HIMSELF - REAL CLOUD)
HE WILL LITERALLY BREAK DOWN
how does all that make any sense when the prediction is "you shall forever lose what you cherished most", i.e. suggesting it will be in the future and it will be a permanent loss? Cloud finds his true identity and memories after fighting sephiroth, he doesn't lose them
Cloud breaks down and then regains his identity, he doesn't lose it forever unlike Aerith in OG who is forever lost.
Wow you had to really reach far to come to that conclusion.
Tifa's literally the indirect reason Cloud is not himself since joining soldier and indirectly partially responsibile for why he continues to keep up with the cool/edgy/loner/tough/hero persona. Tifa has absolutely nothing to do with any of these fortunes.
