Hi 😀...thank you so much for sharing another wonderful work of Bach, played very very well...i've been able to feel all the emotion in every single note and also the little birds near to you are singing in your video and they are happy as you play it so good! Best regards from Naples!
You really love music and it's a great pleasure to share with you the joy of playing and listening.. I am very honoured the recording is appreciated even in the beautiful Napoli. The little birds you hear in the background might have been my daughters who had at that time the age of 0 and 2😀.
@@PaulVanBladel Hi dear Paul, yes i do love this kind of music and i do love the wonderful way by which you make all these beautiful emotions arrive to my heart! Congratulations Paul ...not all the pianists can play as you! I love the sing of the birds too. ..it makes the video such natural and beautiful...You and your family are welcome in Naples! I wish you all the best and see you soon! Best regards!😀
Good catch, it's simply "slovenliness" of the performer (and that's me). Apologies to Johann Sebastian! Hopefully it's the only mistake in the recording :) Thanks a lot for letting me know.
I agree with others that yours is the best performance of Bauer transcription on You Tube. Does any one know whar Schrimer collection it is published in. The Copyright in the U.S. in 1944.
Sure? It's a transcription of a cantate, which is orchestral. It's not a harpsichord work. Any reference material about this work without pedal would help me understanding. Always willing to learn.
Colossal music! Truly,
Bach is the greatest composer of all time
Awesome
Love this

Wonderful, I didn't know this transcription.
Красиво 😔
This is Beautiful Paul!
Thank You Sally !
Great! Congenial!
Perfect. 9.5/10 :-)
Thanks, such inspiring playing. What digital piano are playing on?
Thanks for the kind words. This video is on a Yamaha grand piano. My other recordings are on a digital kawai CA 98.
Great job! Question: at 2:47, I noticed you are playing a g natural, whereas other performers play a g flat. Just curious why that is.

And I only found it today...
Superb rendition, fabulous touch. Only let me to point out that the beautiful transcription was the work of Harold Bauer.
I prefer without pedal

Indeed a very beautiful sound, heel erg mooi. Welk model Yamaha vleugel is dit Paul?
Gijs, dank je wel man ! Weet eigenlijk niet meer welk type Yamaha het was. 'k Was op verplaatsing :)
Hartelijke groet.
