Bosch supplies steam boiler for hydrogen use

The UL-S steam boiler from the Bosch plant in Gunzenhausen uses up to 100% hydrogen from production processes to generate 15 t/h of superheated steam. Instead of CO2, water vapor is produced in the flue gas. Boiler and burner with flue gas recirculation are perfectly matched and enable NOx emissions reliably below 60 mg/m³. In addition to the possibility of using natural gas as a back-up fuel, the boiler offers very high efficiency levels thanks to condensing technology. The new boiler system will be used in the future by a chemical company in Poland.
