Any chance you can include a link to the original in the intro? At the moment, I can't see the dress. I can see Mitch's left eye and ear, a red, double-breasted jacked, a white shirt or blouse, what looks like random sequins and Scott on the left. At one point I saw a couple of legs (knee down) growing out of your chin.
Sorry if I disappoint you, but I think it could be much better if Jennifer didn't screech quite so much and had sung with PTX instead of apparently being determined to outdo them. She was certainly loud though (maybe Simon Cowell has some sense after all). At least she's not Canadian.
A suggestion for you, and please don't reject it because of my opinion above, once we're past Xmas perhamps (or even perhaps): Black&White studio recording version of "Angelina Jordan - I Put A Spell On You". I believe she was 9 at the time of recording. She put a spell on me like my first time watching PTX did.

Hi sweetie. You must be very used to people catering to your whims and wishes. Perhaps you need to text your personal assistant and ask them to look it up for you. I’m sure with your vast knowledge and expertise in the music industry along with your additional education in video production, dubbing and the use of fade to create a cohesive flow to a video, your talents as a typist are quite valuable. Surely, you should have them do that. And bring you Starbucks. Hot.

From what I remember hearing in an interview awhile back, the official audio recording of this was Day 2 of Matt's PTX career, lol. He flew across the country to LA and met up with the group (having their entire back catalog memorized btw, which is insane), and they were like welcome to the family! Oh, and BTW we are recording a song with Jennifer Hudson tomorrow, lol. Talk about being thrown into the fire. Hes handled EVERYTHING like a champ, always with a smile on his face and a gracious and grateful heart ❤

Fun facts: This is from their Holiday special and at that time, Matt was not yet an official member("joining them for the Holiday Season").
Therefore some of their songs were released and performed with only 4 of them.

Thank you for always giving us your true self in each video! It is always such a real treat to see you appreciating what Ptx does! I have listened to all of their songs many, many, many times, but this one particular song I have only listened to a few times. That's because this song was sung at both my parent's funerals. Any time I hear it, it brings on a kind of PTSD. The emotion it evokes inside me is hard for me to handle. So the fact that I saw that you did a reaction to it & I clicked on it & watched it should tell you how much I love your reactions, your channel and you as a human being. Thank you for reacting to this Matt! This song holds a special place in my heart, as I sang it to my ex-husband's grandmother as she lay unconscious in hospice, and again at her funeral. Then I sang it at a fundraiser for a friend whose daughter suffers from a rare developmental disease. (You can find it on YT if you search "Jennifer Aiello How Great Thou Art", in case you're interested.) Obviously, I'm nothing compared to Jennifer Hudson or Pentatonix, lol! But this song has always given me chills, even just singing it as a hymn in church. It's pretty epic.
I hope this new format works out and stops the blocks! And you have no reason to be self-conscious. You look great!
There are 3 versions of this song that are the penultimate; this goosebump rendering one, Home Free's beautiful version, and Carrie Underwood with Vince Gill taking our souls to church at the Grande Ole Opry. Pentatonix have also done this song with Mickey Guyton whom is also a phenomenal vocalist & as a strong African American Female Country singer, she is someone who has some powerful songs for you to check out. Also, just a suggestion, JHud is such a soulful masterful vocalist, and the shoe throwing brings to mind someone I think you should check out....Miss Shoshanna Bean. Check out her rendition of Let It Rain LIVE.......I had a PILE of shoes sitting on my floor below my tv after that vocal slaying!!! I must see your face while watching!!!!

Really trying not to be one of *those* people, but I suggest you double-check the meaning of the word "penultimate". It's just possible you meant second-last (or second-best) but given your list, I think you may have meant "ultimate." Also I, too, am a massive fan of Shoshana Bean, and I love that she has collaborated with our boys more than once. I hope that Matt will check out her "All to Me" duet with Scott and also Superfruit's Pop Goes Broadway, if he hasn't already. Ending this with an apology for pointing out your tiny word thing; I know it's irritating as hell, but I've benefited in the past from similar kindly-meant nudges.

I'm cringing so hard listening to this. This is a Swedish folk song, totally butchered by these otherwise great singers. You can't interpret any song into a soul wailing disaster. Extremely awful!
Have to be honest. Can't stand Jennifer Hudson 's voice. She doesn't know how to tastefully do runs and she screeches ridiculously - in short, she is always trying too hard to impress and oversings every song I've ever heard her do. Any one of the PTX band could have out sung her in that song in their sleep. She could take lessons from Scott on how to do tasteful runs that are fabulous and not screechy. But, because you were the one reacting and PTX was the band, I watched this against my better judgement. But you and they are great.
Love Pentatonix but not Jennifer Hudson. Would have preferred only Pentatonix covering this song. They would have made it amazing! Jennifer Hudson doesn't sing, she screams! She actually hurts my ears and my brain when she performs. Did not enjoy this performance because of her. Matt, did you really enjoy it?
