Yeah I'm shocked, racewalker really did come in clutch during the end there.
It was pretty clutch, but it was still anyone's game at the end. I'd like to see someone with next to no chance of winning scoring the group for a true clutch.

This was 1 position swap from being a 3-way tie (Terrance Jr and Will Speed).
Heck, if Will Speed finished 2nd AND Rippin' Randy finished the race (4th place), we would have a 4-way tie!

I recommend going back about and binging chronologically from the Ferrari Tournament in Feb. 2020 that was the first race on the 2nd manifestation of Race Mountain..

hey 3D , you and 2D should do a fan All-Star race ! you pick like 12 cars that us the fans vote in &’ maybe the winner of the race gets an automatic berth in the next tournament or something but I think it’ll be a cool idea

The way Dude spun out Will on the last lap was so smooth! I get that the focus was Randy crashing, since he was in the lead 'til that point, but I was really impressed with that maneuver!

Seems like Terrance lost his champ when he started driving that F40. Maybe he is still trying to adjust the vibe from driving sport to super car but he seems slow. Keep it up Terrance!
Hey guys. At the start of each Round 2 race, can you show us the screen with all of the racers’ qualifying times? (Youd show this after each qualifying race so I know you have the graphic) It would be cool to see the “seed” of each racer going into this round.
Terrance owes Will a waiver. If Terrance and Will had both DNF on that last race, Terrance would be out of kotm.
Just a suggestion: a couple full-time, wide view cameras that always see all parts of the track. That way, when things happen that the moving cameras miss, we can go to one of the other cameras that DID see it.
Just a minor suggesting for improving the best channel on RUclips.
Is it my Imagination or a light effect from the clear wheels, but when that Purple F40 slides under the parking lot it looks like there is smoke coming from the tires!!!!!

I still think the next round would be better if the 2nd place finishers in the 2nd round crossed over to the other side of the bracket so that in round 3, both heats have 4 drivers who've not raced each other.

Seems Terrance Jr. prefered his older car. He is still good but not as dominant as he was in that EVO.
The track definitely needs the maintenance crew to do some overtime!! Cars hitting the sides and crashing more often than usual now...

The qualifying times tell a story: there's no clear favorite, it's gonna be close all the way!
I still maintain that anyone who DNFs due to being impeded by another racers crash or other bad driving should get at least one point.

Hey 3D could you please inspect the track for faults?
Races 3 and 4 seemed to be incredibly unnatural for all drivers. Especially looking at Terrence Jr. and how his car performs in the first race, then cant even get down the finish line in race 4.
Looks like something happened, but Im not knowledgeable enough to know exactly what.
That's how racing little cars goes. A solo run has its variables and the number of variables go up an order of magnitude with each additional car on the track.
Extremes in temperatures and humidity could affect a track but I doubt that's in play here.
A really decent comment out of the many making the same assertion today, genuine points for that
@@Chris_Hood Sure, but thats assuming no statistical data to draw from. In this case there is.
You can compare how Terrence drove in his own showcase, then his first couple races. They are similar and within what you'd expect. However you look at races 3&4 and suddenly he cannot even make it down the track? That seems very suspicious. Plus one car flipping over in round 2? That is more believable, but again the performances seem 'off'.
And having watched all previous seasons and racing, I have never once said this. I cannot shake the feeling either the cars all went faulty (Like the Delorean last tourney as stated by the driver itself) or something happened with the track after race 2 (it seems)
@@richardsabino2961 responding because it is a fascinating topic. If you run the same race a dozen times the data _begins_ to flesh out. Drawing conclusions from one four lap competition is hardly sufficient. Cars can pick up subtle damage in collisions the more they race. This affects performance. Stack four cars with their accumulated idiosyncrasies in the same group and watch these combined variables interact in even more unexpected ways.

Also you misrepresent my points. Terrence Jr. had a showcase race *outside* of his four lap competition, which I did refer to in my points. But since you insist, Terrence Jr. is also a 2-time KOTM Winner so I'll update the court record and bolster my argument further (joke).
Lastly, yes, I did posit if the cars had taken damage. As there is data to support that. Marc D (the previous season fastest time) and his Delorean had taken some damage and the car wasnt driving right. We know this because Marc D actually commented stating this to 3D on the video. Do I believe that Roughly *3/4* cars all got damaged at Roughly the same time on the same 4 lap race, no. Statistically speaking this seems highly irregular, though possible.
I guess we'll see in the semi-finals.
@@richardsabino2961 Adriel has been at this racing gig for years, built many tracks in his time. He knows his venue and in the final analysis would not risk his reputation by allowing an inherently faulty track to continue.
There are channels that hold more frequent events and racers get a better feel for the individual track over time. Here, with longer running tournaments and fewer opportunities to race, it's tough to build the same degree of experience. Would this not add to the inconsistencies we see?
