Jugg is a tortoise shell kitty. They have “Tortitude”. They are VERY attached to owners and can be vocal and bossy about it. My beautiful Sassy was one, RIP.
Even though torties aren't a breed (just a color), I swear they might as well be a breed-- I have two who don't get along at all, much to my disappointment but I'm not giving either away, that's for sure! Love them!!

I think it was a fail because they fostered her with the idea of her being later adopted by someone else, but they failed in letting her go and adopted her themselves. Such a cute cat, I'd fail in letting her go too!
aaand i'm crying. my college is 2 hours away from home, where my darling three legged kitty, Loxley is. he ALWAYS loves to give kisses and cuddle, he'll even greet us at the door when we get home and meow profusely until he gets the attention he wants (and deserves). i miss my little guy so much.
Her personality reminds me of my Marnie. Both are ultra needy, love snuggles and talk a lot. Both are so sweet! Jugg went from this adorable little chatterbox to a gorgeous chatterbox. She's so pretty!
Neighborhood I grew up in had a tortoiseshell cat like Jug who roamed around all the time because for some reason the owner always let her outside. Wasnt a very safe area so it upset me and I always took the cat in my house for frequent visits and overnightters when it was cold outside. She was the most needy and affectionate cat I'd ever know. She would moo instead of meow so we named her Mrs. Moo. She would follow me to school and all over the place. I miss that sweet girl. Major lap cat. Loved her very much.
Aww, isn’t that the best, I love that story. Sounds like what I’d do, I try to reel in any cat I can find..lol but I hardly ever see any anymore, for the longest time! Then when I do they’re usually scared or feral and run, 😢.
I definitely think cats know when they've been rescued. My rescued fur baby is the most neediest animal on four legs, and I love him all the more for it. Granted he has more beds than a hotel and everything I own has cat hair on it but he's my best friend. Happy Valentine's to all. 🐾❤xx
Oh this video brings back sooo many memories!!! All good ones too!! On August 3, 1998, a neighbors cat, Chynna came to my house at 4 A.M. I worked nights back then and when I saw Chynna was pregnant and she was so hungry. I had a bag of Kitten Chow just for her. I fed her that morning before I went to bed. At 3:30 P.M., I was getting ready to leave for work. Just before I left, I would go outside and Chynna ran over for food. She clearly had given birth on August 3, 1998. On August 9th, I had taken a vacation day to do yard work as well as pressure wash the siding. I was just ready to go to Wal-Mart for mulch etc. My phone rang. It was another neighbor asking me to come over. As I walked around the corner of his house, I could hear those unmistakable tiny cries of newborn kittens. Danny had come out of his house that morning and almost stepped on these 2 tiny little ones. One look at the one baby, a calico, I knew these were Chynna's baby's. The other little girl was a black & white "tuxedo" kitten--the spitting image of a male that had been lurking around about 2 months before. I told Danny that Chynna was probably eating someplace and to put the babies into an open top box--this way Chynna could find them. We put the box on top of a bench. I got in my car and as I exited the subdivision, I looked to my left and my heart sunk....about 150 feet from me, on the road was a clump of fur....calico fur. I drove up to it and saw this was Chynna and she had clearly been hit by a car and died. I promised her that I would take care of her little ones and was going to Wal-Mart to get Kitten formula etc. to care for them. I told her that after her babies were fed and asleep, that we would be back to bury her. When I returned with the supplies, the first order was to bathe both of them with baby shampoo to kill the fleas that were climbing on top of each other and the babies gums were pale white from blood loss. Two baths later and I could bring them inside. I mixed the Kitten Replacement powder with goats milk. Both of them were SCREAMING from hunger. I handed a bottle to Danny and showed him how to hold them. Those little ear wiggles while eating are something I remember so well!! Once they were fed, bathroom time and a half bath for that, dried off, and I put fresh towels in a box and the box in the bathtub. Since I had a big male Ragdoll cat, the vet had told me to keep him away from the newborns. Then Danny & I walked to the place where Chynna's lifeless body lay. We buried her and I told her that her babies had eaten and were now sleeping. Of course these little ones needed round the clock care. I took then to work with me and everyone "donated" a break time to feed them. At 10 days of age, I had gone outside to get the mail and I came home to the bathroom door open!! Benji, my big adult Ragdoll, was now in the box with the babies. They were snuggled up in his fur!! So much for him trying to hurt or kill a baby!! He would observe their bottle feeding and take over with caring for their bathroom time and then bathed them like a mommy cat!! At 12 days, the bigger baby, the black & white tuxedo, had both eyes open and looking at me. The much smaller little calico baby's eyes didn't open. At 13 days, I was greeted by one of her eyes open. At 15 days when I went into the bathroom to feed them, I was pleasantly surprised to see 4 little green eyes looking up at me!! By the time they were 6 weeks of age and eating on their own. I knew they here to stay!! The tuxedo kitty was Samantha!! Sadly, on 12/30/2010, Samantha died from a massive heart attack as she was playing with her Christmas toys. The much tinier calico is Isabella!! She turned 20 YEARS old last August 3rd!! She is currently sleeping on my lap. She is no longer able to jump on items that she used to jump on easily. I have a little step stool next to the sofa so she can get up there on her own. We are now shooting for her 21st and 22nd!! The only difference, besides not being able to jump more, I see in her is that she cannot groom some of her areas. Her 9 1/2 year old brother Max, cleans her fur and I comb her!! She still "chases" the laser light which has a star and a butterfly light. She just doesn't to it for a long time period!! In addition to Max, her 8 year old calico sister, Missy is here. And their new sibling Justin who is between 10 to 12 years old. He is a special needs kitty--totally deaf!!
Suzie Phillips you are a special person/angel. Thank you for taking care of the orphan babies and burying their mother. You are a very special person in my eyes!
You are wonderful for raising and keeping the kittens. I found my cat (now 17) on vacation. Aprox. 5 wks old..no mom..no siblings. I knew if i didn't catch & adopt her, she would probably die. She is the most affection cat I have ever had.

I am single by choice at this point in my life and finally happy not being consumed or overwhelmed with the requirements of a relationship. Relationships aren't for everyone & I cried for many years over not being capable of giving myself fully to one because of family circumstances that were beyond complicated & left me with no time for myself, let alone a relationship. Once I cut the immediate family ties leaving only myself & my teenage son to provide for emotionally, financially, & physically the desire to be in a relationship disappeared because I was finally free to make my own life choices, including dating opportunities. I have dated a few guys since cutting off family obligations but I am enjoying my freedom more than dating or feeling obligated. I can focus on myself now which is something I couldn't do before. I realized that what I deserved and needed a long time ago was individuality and freedom from a controlling family and I thought a relationship could help rescue me so I exhausted myself trying to be the perfect woman. In the end I always broke up with the guys because my parents called the shots even in my adult life. If I am supposed to be in a relationship then we will find each other but I still think having a cats love is better than Valentine's day 😉

I have a bottle kitty too. He was raised by humans before his eyes were even open (tragic stray situation with mom getting hit by a car, kittens were luckily found)..he is the NEEDIEST cat I've ever had. I love it! Especially how he searches for me when he's sleepy. He 100% doesn't know how to "cat" 🤷🏻♀️😂

I have a kitty just like Jugg. So needy but I love it. Her name is Emily. She is 10 years old and I am so grateful to have her in my life. So much love. So many snuggles. It is a joy to wake up to her sweet face every morning.:-) I chose her when she was born. She came to live with me when she was 10 weeks old. She was very needy with her kitty mommy too.:-)
@Agnaye Ochani no she didn't run away, and she's in great hands. I gave her to my father as I was unable to take her with me as I travel a lot due to work now. She is his best friend, and follows him around everywhere he goes. Her name is scribbles ☺️✌️
My most enjoyable thing ever was to rescue a kitten from my Mom’s backyard 8 weeks after she went to Heaven, I nursed her just like her Momma would, now she’s 4 yrs old

I have the exact same thing with my cat who was abandoned by her Mother. She is extremely needy with wanting to be as close as possible simularily to the video.
Same with my boycat - he's such a snugglefuzz. His 'sister' (different litter but adopted the same time) is more standoffish so they balance each other out.
Same, my cat is 17 and still just as needy and smothering. He was probably taken from his mom too young. I love him but he can be a lot sometimes with his need for attention 24/7. He’s lucky he’s adorable.
I have a tortie cat we found outside of our house when she was probably a few weeks old. She's needy but not a cuddler at ALL, she's just super bossy and always active. Even if she isn't cuddly I still love her
I am also a Foster Fail 😻 After helping them to be born and raising them, there was no way I could part with them, not knowing how their lives would go. So we still have the mom and three of her adorable kitten-cats. Five years now.

@@triciaaw4539 Guess it depends where you live,we had around nine strays at one point but some of the neighbors couldn't mind their own business n made life a bit grim.Our cats were own gdn n house cats but nobody else had that many so it was frowned upon n my lads got flak.Nowadays,just got the two girls n the pooch n we just keep to ourselves.Inlanders are a strange breed.
I rewatched this video maybe about 18 times since it was posted and it ALWAYS never fails to melt my heart. I fell in love with Jugg yet he's not even my kitty. More Jugg please, when I say I keep rewatching this I mean it. Jugg's such a babe.
Perhaps your cat was not socialized properly. And allowinging it to get away with that is your responsibility. Turn away. Say no. Have a toy distraction hand. Have a treat for good behavior.

My kitten is currently about 12 weeks old. We began fostering him at 4 weeks old and he got really sick and had serious digestive issues. He was at the vet for two weeks and when we got him back into foster care, we couldn't give him back. He is literally by my side all day. Every night he sleeps right next to me and every morning he wakes me up by rubbing on my face and purring. He is a very needy kitten just like jugg but that's why we foster failed with him
David Barry, there are lots of fur babies out there that could really use a foster home and someone to let them know they are loved. I think it would do wonders for your too.
My calico heard Jugg’s voice & reached up to get a petting. She’s very good at being just sweet enough for me to put up with the rest of her personality
One of the cats I grew up with, was a *_very_* needy Siamese cross. Shadow wasn't happy unless he was attached to someone; we called him our "octopussy" because he seemed to have eight legs to hang on with when we tried to put him down 🤗❤🦑😻.

Awww...such good parents. My mum fostered 3 day old kittens someone abandoned at her boyfriend's job. It was hard but they were her babies till the end. Also, everyone should feel what it's like to cuddle or kissy-face, pull away and have your baby paw you and try to pull you back to them for more. It's amazing

Unfortunately, a lot of pets can't even depend on a meal or water or even loving pat on the head. They know who they can come to who'll really "hear" and "see" them. One of my cats' ears twitched like Jugg's when she ate, too! I always thought that was the cutest thing. I love watching your rescues, Chris. I've been a Cole & Marmalade fan for years! I definitely think cats know when they've been rescued. My rescued fur baby is the most neediest animal on four legs, and I love him all the more for it. Granted he has more beds than a hotel and everything I own has cat hair on it but he's my best friend. Happy Valentine's to all. 🐾❤xx

On August 3, 1998, a neighbors cat, Chynna came to my house at 4 A.M. I worked nights back then and when I saw Chynna was pregnant and she was so hungry. I had a bag of Kitten Chow just for her.
I fed her that morning before I went to bed.
At 3:30 P.M., I was getting ready to leave for work. Just before I left, I would go outside and Chynna ran over for food. She clearly had given birth on August 3, 1998.
On August 9th, I had taken a vacation day to do yard work as well as pressure wash the siding. I was just ready to go to Wal-Mart for mulch etc.
My phone rang. It was another neighbor asking me to come over.
As I walked around the corner of his house, I could hear those unmistakable tiny cries of newborn kittens.
Danny had come out of his house that morning and almost stepped on these 2 tiny little ones. One look at the one baby, a calico, I knew these were Chynna's baby's. The other little girl was a black & white "tuxedo" kitten--the spitting image of a male that had been lurking around about 2 months before.
I told Danny that Chynna was probably eating someplace and to put the babies into an open top box--this way Chynna could find them. We put the box on top of a bench.
I got in my car and as I exited the subdivision, I looked to my left and my heart sunk....about 150 feet from me, on the road was a clump of fur....calico fur.
I drove up to it and saw this was Chynna and she had clearly been hit by a car and died.
I promised her that I would take care of her little ones and was going to Wal-Mart to get Kitten formula etc. to care for them. I told her that after her babies were fed and asleep, that we would be back to bury her.
When I returned with the supplies, the first order was to bathe both of them with baby shampoo to kill the fleas that were climbing on top of each other and the babies gums were pale white from blood loss.
Two baths later and I could bring them inside. I mixed the Kitten Replacement powder with goats milk. Both of them were SCREAMING from hunger.
I handed a bottle to Danny and showed him how to hold them.
Those little ear wiggles while eating are something I remember so well!!
Once they were fed, bathroom time and a half bath for that, dried off, and I put fresh towels in a box and the box in the bathtub.
Since I had a big male Ragdoll cat, the vet had told me to keep him away from the newborns.
Then Danny & I walked to the place where Chynna's lifeless body lay. We buried her and I told her that her babies had eaten and were now sleeping.
Of course these little ones needed round the clock care. I took then to work with me and everyone "donated" a break time to feed them.
At 10 days of age, I had gone outside to get the mail and I came home to the bathroom door open!! Benji, my big adult Ragdoll, was now in the box with the babies. They were snuggled up in his fur!!
So much for him trying to hurt or kill a baby!! He would observe their bottle feeding and take over with caring for their bathroom time and then bathed them like a mommy cat!!
At 12 days, the bigger baby, the black & white tuxedo, had both eyes open and looking at me.
The much smaller little calico baby's eyes didn't open.
At 13 days, I was greeted by one of her eyes open.
At 15 days when I went into the bathroom to feed them, I was pleasantly surprised to see 4 little green eyes looking up at me!!
By the time they were 6 weeks of age and eating on their own. I knew they here to stay!!
The tuxedo kitty was Samantha!!
Sadly, on 12/30/2010, Samantha died from a massive heart attack as she was playing with her Christmas toys.
The much tinier calico is Isabella!! She turned 20 YEARS old last August 3rd!! She is currently sleeping on my lap.
She is no longer able to jump on items that she used to jump on easily. I have a little step stool next to the sofa so she can get up there on her own.
We are now shooting for her 21st and 22nd!!
The only difference, besides not being able to jump more, I see in her is that she cannot groom some of her areas. Her 9 1/2 year old brother Max, cleans her fur and I comb her!!
She still "chases" the laser light which has a star and a butterfly light. She just doesn't to it for a long time period!!
In addition to Max, her 8 year old calico sister, Missy is here.
And their new sibling Justin who is between 10 to 12 years old. He is a special needs kitty--totally deaf!!
Suzie Phillips you are a special person/angel. Thank you for taking care of the orphan babies and burying their mother. You are a very special person in my eyes!
You are wonderful for raising and keeping the kittens. I found my cat (now 17) on vacation. Aprox. 5 wks old..no mom..no siblings. I knew if i didn't catch & adopt her, she would probably die. She is the most affection cat I have ever had.

I am single by choice at this point in my life and finally happy not being consumed or overwhelmed with the requirements of a relationship. Relationships aren't for everyone & I cried for many years over not being capable of giving myself fully to one because of family circumstances that were beyond complicated & left me with no time for myself, let alone a relationship. Once I cut the immediate family ties leaving only myself & my teenage son to provide for emotionally, financially, & physically the desire to be in a relationship disappeared because I was finally free to make my own life choices, including dating opportunities. I have dated a few guys since cutting off family obligations but I am enjoying my freedom more than dating or feeling obligated. I can focus on myself now which is something I couldn't do before.
I realized that what I deserved and needed a long time ago was individuality and freedom from a controlling family and I thought a relationship could help rescue me so I exhausted myself trying to be the perfect woman. In the end I always broke up with the guys because my parents called the shots even in my adult life. If I am supposed to be in a relationship then we will find each other but I still think having a cats love is better than Valentine's day 😉

I have a bottle kitty too. He was raised by humans before his eyes were even open (tragic stray situation with mom getting hit by a car, kittens were luckily found)..he is the NEEDIEST cat I've ever had. I love it! Especially how he searches for me when he's sleepy. He 100% doesn't know how to "cat" 🤷🏻♀️😂

I have a kitty just like Jugg. So needy but I love it. Her name is Emily. She is 10 years old and I am so grateful to have her in my life. So much love. So many snuggles. It is a joy to wake up to her sweet face every morning.:-) I chose her when she was born. She came to live with me when she was 10 weeks old. She was very needy with her kitty mommy too.:-)

@Agnaye Ochani no she didn't run away, and she's in great hands. I gave her to my father as I was unable to take her with me as I travel a lot due to work now. She is his best friend, and follows him around everywhere he goes. Her name is scribbles ☺️✌️

I have the exact same thing with my cat who was abandoned by her Mother. She is extremely needy with wanting to be as close as possible simularily to the video.
Same with my boycat - he's such a snugglefuzz. His 'sister' (different litter but adopted the same time) is more standoffish so they balance each other out.
Same, my cat is 17 and still just as needy and smothering. He was probably taken from his mom too young. I love him but he can be a lot sometimes with his need for attention 24/7. He’s lucky he’s adorable.
I have a tortie cat we found outside of our house when she was probably a few weeks old. She's needy but not a cuddler at ALL, she's just super bossy and always active. Even if she isn't cuddly I still love her

Perhaps your cat was not socialized properly. And allowinging it to get away with that is your responsibility. Turn away. Say no. Have a toy distraction hand. Have a treat for good behavior.

My kitten is currently about 12 weeks old. We began fostering him at 4 weeks old and he got really sick and had serious digestive issues. He was at the vet for two weeks and when we got him back into foster care, we couldn't give him back. He is literally by my side all day. Every night he sleeps right next to me and every morning he wakes me up by rubbing on my face and purring. He is a very needy kitten just like jugg but that's why we foster failed with him

Awww...such good parents. My mum fostered 3 day old kittens someone abandoned at her boyfriend's job. It was hard but they were her babies till the end. Also, everyone should feel what it's like to cuddle or kissy-face, pull away and have your baby paw you and try to pull you back to them for more. It's amazing

Chris......that very last shot of Jugg all sprawled out there just cracked me up!! Isn't it the greatest thing in the world when pets CAN be "needy"...?? Unfortunately, a lot of pets can't even depend on a meal or water or even loving pat on the head. They know who they can come to who'll really "hear" and "see" them. One of my cats' ears twitched like Jugg's when she ate, too! I always thought that was the cutest thing. I love watching your rescues, Chris. I've been a Cole & Marmalade fan for years! I love those 2 luv bugs and now Jugg!! Thank you & your wife for all the work you do, the unconditional love and countless hours you give to the many fur babies in the world that desperately need it. No wonder Jugg is so needy! Look at the life she has! 😻
