Honestly I think anyone with a real love and appreciation for any genre of music can agree that ONLY listening to Taylor swift as a grown ass woman is pretty ridiculous.
Yeah, I think it's weird, that she doesn't listen to Rihanna, Sandra or Britney Spears(I guess that's what she would like, because my mom listens to them and to all the other pop, and other genres). I don't think it's possible to like just one band/singer, there're always others, that can be liked by the people who like some specific band/singer, unless she's not trying to try something new. Which, I think, is true(she's not trying). If you like one thing, you may like the other.

@@adamsowers8957 John Mayer girl is understandable because I as a straight guy who loves metal and rock, and even some old-school hip hop, but I actually like some of his music, for the fact he's a legit guitarist. In grew up listening to metal, thanks to my mom who grew up being a rebellious 80s teen who went and found metal and hard rock. As she's gotten older she's given my metal preferences (Goth Metal as well as more Symphonic Metal being my two genres) a chance. I've even got her into The Birthday Massacre and they're more new wave Synth rock.
Only listening to any single artist is pretty ridiculous.
The part about Mozart absolutely killed me because when ever I hear someone say something about their not being lyrics I always bring up classical music
And just all instrumental music in general. People seem to have forgotten that music is music and not just singing, and it's very infuriating. Bringing up classical music is the perfect example
@@UnaT1muS This is so true. I remember one occasion when I was riding in the car with my sister and brother in law, and my brother in law was playing stuff on Pandora. They asked me what I wanted to listen to. I didn't want to give them too intense stuff since they don't really listen to that, so I suggested Buckethead. My sister maybe got through a few songs before she said something like "I can't listen to this. I need something with singing. It feels like classical music." I cringed a little bit thinking back on that.

I'm a lady, and I listen to metal. It's only been a few years, and I regret not getting into it sooner. Iron Maiden was my introductory band so nothing too crazy. They're still my favorite. This past weekend, I started listening to Helloween and Slipknot for the first time. A very fun combination to experience.
Once you'll be used to metal, I suggest Lorna Shore- To the Hellfire

Explain further please on instrumental producer. For all I could know from that is you home make edm that uses samples.... also instrumental is composition. The composition takes 50% of the royalties which is there equally divided to all those involved in creating the composition which is the instrumentals. Lyrics take the remaining 50% of the royalties.

I grew up with rock like U2 but then when I got older my Brother introduced me to metal. Not heavy just metal and I fell in love with Metallica and Dio💚

Good ol' "old school" with an actual singing and melodies. Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Dio, Helloween, Scorpions. Metallica's 80's ballads. Softer Pantera and Megadeth. More Nightwish, Epica. Alter Bridge, Avenged Sevenfold, late Mastodon and Baroness. Maybe even something "basic" by Fates Warning or Dream Theater. Periphery's songs without screaming.
Anyways I think this video was made exactly for shocking factor/laugh. These girls now will avoid everything connected with the word "metal" for sure.

There's lots more, but like I said, I am really bad with names. And since I usually listen to metal while driving, and my partner does the music selection, I don't have the names in front of me. When I say "hey, I want that song, it went somethings like *this*" he knows what I mean. Or for a band "It got that singer that sings like *this*", with *this* being me imitating the sounds. I am a big fan of specific bands, but I would be hard pressed to name their members beyond maybe a few of them.

Ashish Meshram here are some good intro metal bands, Metallica, Slipknot, five finger death punch and breaking Benjamin those are what got me into metal (also classic metal bands like Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden). Then after that you can move onto somewhat heavier bands like periphery, august burns red, kill switch engage, lamb of god. Then you move onto the really heavy stuff like deathcore, death metal, grind etc. So there you have infant annihilator, suicide silence, slaughter to prevail, cannibal corpse etc. Hope this helps and anyone feel free to correct me, also in beginner metal bands I’d say dream theater fits in there well if you like prog.
I grew up with metal and rock since my parents are both bikers and I'm just now getting really into it. I really wish I got into it a lot sooner 🥲 By listening to NU metal I got really inspired to learn to play electric guitar but I'm just kinda scared to tell my parents cause I don't know if they would react in a positive or negative way 😅
go for it! If you are concerned about how your parents will react, Fill you death metal songs with happy, wholesome lyrics like "I love sniffing the pretty flowers" and "I would never kill anybody"

@@GumiMarcy i have been playing 10 years piano before moving on guitar so my progress was super fast, but if your first guitar is your first instrument then i really recommend to take some real life lessons on it. And when buying your first guitar, dont buy the cheapest one. Buy some good brand guitar. Ibanez has those around 200€ guitars

I am a 13 yr old girl, and I LOVE metal. And rock. And I love all of those bands, and I listen to them every day. I found this hilarious!!! The taylor swift lady is exactly how my mom reacts whenever she comes into my room and hears me listening to any metal music, or even stuff like Guns N' Roses!!!I don't get how people can not like metal or rock, it's my life and soul. I love it. I hope that's not bad as my brain isn't fully developed yet... (that made literally no sense lol). I'm not totally punk though, i'm a normal teenage girl who loves real music! I have an undying love for Metal. However, I usually don't listen to most of the extreme sub-genres. I'm a huge sucker for Power Metal, Heavy Metal, Industrial Metal and Melodic Death. My most played bands on Spotify for the last month are In Flames, Raubtier, Amon Amarth, Judas Priest, Hulkoff, Pretty Maids, Brothers of Metal, Sabaton, Metallica and Beast in Black. That basically summs up my entire demographic of Metal sub-genres, as well. I've also started listening to quite a lot of country recently. Luke Bryan, Colt Ford, Upchurch, Jon Pardi, Rhett Akins, Zac Brown Band, Randy Houser, Justin Moore and Bourbon Boys (Raubtier side project), to name a few.
Yeah it's a bit weird they throw these women off the deep end into subgenres a lot of metalheads aren't even into just to be like 'lol wamens are scared of metal'

6:07 talking about this, nobody asked me, but the bands that i started to hear to become a metalhead, was only 3, avenged sevenfold, static x, and disturbed, they are not heavy as cannibal corpse, but god, they got some heavy songs, disturbed with the album of the sickness, static x with winsconsin death trip and start a war, and finally avenged sevenfold with sounding of the seventh trumpet, walking the fallen and their (only synyster gates and the rev) band before a7x, pinkly smooth
