The seller must decide whether to accept the guaranteed money or risk fortune or failure in the auction room. Of course, placing one's trust in a positive auction outcome is a gamble in itself! Auctioneer says £1000 to £1500 valuation David comes in a says £2000 at least. Why have experts and Auctioneers valuation if David can just disagree. So many time's people have gone to auction and lost money based on the dealers offer.I personally think if a dealer really wants an item David will push yhem to yhe very limit and very small profit, if it was his money he'd be wanting to pay the minimum amount.Plus judging the dealers profit at the end of the show it's not worth them turning up especially with the price of petrol
