Left ear is counts and clicks right ear is music. Helps artist to hear clicks and cues clearer compared to when both are mixed together. Clicks can easily mix into the drums if not seperated
Normally are the producers of the same songs, since they have a clear panorama of every single song, the tempos, the tones, rythms etc. Sometimes the audio engeneers and stage managers can collab as well.
