My trick for cream or liquid highlighter, I powder and then use setting spray all over my face, wait a couple seconds and then apply the cream highlight. It's the best way for me.

Hey Soph! Would you consider doing a video breaking down your favourite skin tints and tinted moisturisers? What sets certain ones apart - shade ranges, coverage, price points, oily/drying for different skin types, etc? I'd be super interested in a video like that 💞
I definitely remember the jelly pop primer from a few years ago, so it was definitely a thing, also they're supposed to be watermelon scented.

Stunning eye makeup look. As always. But my only suggestion would be to put a glitter eye primer before the yellow, yellow over blue makes green so maybe a matte yellow shadow first. 💗
I've been pretty blessed in the skin department. Never really had crazy acne my skin routine has been the same I use CeraVe facewash and lotion and Heritage Rose water on my face.

To apply a cream/ liquid highlighter I usually set my face with powder and then use a setting spray and then apply my highlighter. My face will be set but rehydrated so it doesn't separate my powder products xx
Do you apply the highlighter whilst it’s wet or once it’s dry? Sorry sounds like a silly question 😅

@@aesha880 If you are using a liquid highlighter I would also recommend putting it onto the back of your hand and working it into a beauty blender or brush before applying it to your face :)

Have you tried the eye pop thing were you look on a colour wheel take the opposite to your eye colour in a eyeshadow and put on the outside edge of waterline and also on the inside edge.. be amazing to see if it works on you cause you have lovely eyes .. loads of shorts on it.. please try ! ❤

Definitely try using setting spray first once your base is done and then once the setting spray is dried you can apply the cream/liquid highlighter!💕
yeah, the blushes are more buildable/sheer so even having pale skin like i do i can still wear the purple and red which could be more up your alley even though normally it would be something to shy away with

Dermatica really is amazing!!!!! It's transformed my skin. I thought I had rosacea and the derm at dermatica said no no it's acne even though spots were minimal and honestly they've done an amazing job and they are so helpful

I think you could do a fabulous pinky neutral look with that Pokemon palette! I still have my entire collection of Pokémon cards in my childhood room at my parents' house from middle school :) I would love for you to test some more indie brand palettes - Moira and Oden's Eye have some fabulous palettes with unique color stories!

The way I make my cream products work is simple.. I use powder only where I need it, not all over my face☺️ granted I have combo skin so my cheek, cheek bones and all that area just don’t need any setting ☺️ always enjoy your videos, never change☺️xx
I love Dermatica. The tretinoin has changed my life. I have acne prone skin too. I’m a picker also. What has really helped me with that is when I get a spot clean it and put an invisible Mighty patch hydrocoloide patch on it so u don’t touch it even if there’s 10!! Plus they help them go away especially during the day when I touch my face. Also I cut out sugar and my face cleared up😳 I was shocked! Your skin has been looking amazing Soph😍 I bought that elf jelly pop collection. I was disappointed with the highlighter. It massively broke apart my base but I loved the other 2 products but I wish the lip oil wasn’t gritty but it’s pretty❤

that pokemon eyeshadow palette is actually genius
first off, the name being a play on the fact it's a makeup palette and an omage to the fact ash's hometown (and the hometown from pokemon red/blue/yellow) is called pallet town is so smart
next, that shade you mentioned 'jelly donut' is a reference to the fact that, in the english dub of pokemon, someone changed the word 'onigiri' to jelly donuts. for reference, onigiri are rice balls which are pretty different. since then its been a joke within the community - just really cool that they paid attention to smth like that :D im sure james would rlly enjoy looking at the other shade names cus if theyre all as specific as that, they must be pretty smart

Elf launched the watermelon primer a few years ago. They had a whole watermelon skincare line.
i find that cream highlighter is supposed to have a very creamy look - one of my favourites is the Josephine Cosmetics DEW/YOU highlighter (please try in a video if you havent alreadt because i think it is beautiful - i usually apply after cream blush and i dont usually use powder but if i do, i will avoid the area that i applied the highlighter. sometimes i set the highlighter in place with a powder (REM beauty in miss mercury)

The only powder I use on my face is the loose powder. I love my cream and liquid products. I would put all the cream and liquid product, use a setting spray then put on my powder and mascara then another round of setting spray.
What could you do with the jelly since it wasn’t edible could you use it like body wash ?
