What a great little cookie Wear and marks on a Casio is okay (if it's a G shock), that means you've used that thing properly....and if it's a resin thing, replace and keep going (replacing isn't so important by the way)....but if it's a sweet thing like that one, before replacing of anything just keep one thing in mind...parts doesn't exist since last century 😀 there's a lot, a lot of people who don't understand how much a condition and rarity is affecting a price tag and what does it means....luck for me, I don't sell or resell anything, so I don't have to deal with those people. good video
I have two of these, they are really cool. What's interesting about these is that they do have a chrome plated metal case, not sure what metal but it's definitely not solid stainless steel. And yes, both of mine are corroded a little bit. It's a very high tech watch for 1985 for sure. This has my favourite steel bracelet of any Casio.
I had 520 it had running display on top you can put reminder message and it'd keep scrolling from right to left, 50 character memo limitation it was Cool watch
I've got this watch but the gold DB-500 version. I bought off eBay as new old stock. Absolutely mint condition. I'm looking to sell on eBay, any idea what I should it sell at?
Dam, I thought I bought a original one(like this first version) last year but mine says DB-520 & 'J' on the back to with the 4 screws at the back. It's still nice tho the one I got(yours is better tho) :D You live & learn I guess to :D ;)
@Oldcasiocollector Ok cool 😎 It's difficult knowing what is what when you first get started getting into all of this collecting :D Your videos help a LOT 😎 😎 😎 thank you👍
As a person who loves watches never got the idea y ppl "never Ever" use their watch. ok this is in mint condition but i am talking abt "nos" maybe they are sure that they will have 2nd life. i am not sure then i use my watches and i dont care its 91or g9000.
Maybe they were gifted a watch never liked it, went in a cupboard, someone finds it 30 or 40 years later, and now you have a new out stock. or a store had one and just didn't sell. It just went behind the cupboard so discovered it happens all the time.
@@Oldcasiocollector I have 2 gift watch, one from an unknown brand from india which back case was ruined and i hold it with tape, i even use that whatch even when she said if its broken dump it. i didnt bc its not abt the watch its abt the being kind to each other and that watch is just a reminder. another one is a Green G-9000 its near mint condition but i even use that one. thats the way i think and i do, thats y i dont get why they dont use it.
Stunning looking watch and the fact you got the original box and papers is a win
Lee fantastic find, I had couple in the early 80's really great timepiece. By the way the Casio label, inside the glass at bottom left corner!
Incredible condition of the piece, congratulations 👏👏👏 I have a similar watch, the Casio T2000, completely made of metal as well. Excellent Video

good video
Die Verpackung ist so geil 😂😂😂
You're right for being indignant about upside-down packaging. What's with these people? No mind for details whatsoever!
Yes, it's a pet hate of mine, how are you? how you Do something is how you do everything.

They are brass, made from CZ102 for hardness. Also ally crome bonds very well to it
I think the Casio sign would look good at bottom left using the black version

Have you ever set more than 20 alarms to go off at once before and are all your Casio’s set to the right time?
I have thought about it, but I cannot be bothered
Watching in 2025 The Casio Watches
What brand of batteries do you prefer avoiding cheap batteries can be a problem
renata
Surely top-middle like on the watches.
I find your videos very interesting .. Unedited I prefer .. I had the above watch in the 80's .. I have a few G-Shocks Steel .. very good watches. 😊
Glad you like them!
Citizen Promaster "Ray Mears" spotted.
Yes, a very special watch

They are both nice the difference with your one 520, it probably came with a world time function. The 510 doesn't have that. There's pros and cons.
